"In response and for complete transparency, the following is the timeline of events: Home owner has a septic system that is deficient. An inspection with mechanical excavator was required to expose multiple components of the septic system. The inspection failed. Concrete Distribution Box cover was broken, D-Box was cracked and had roots, header lines to the drain field are crushed and full of roots. Drian field is saturated. Home owner was placed on a temporary pump and haul to allow for the septic drain field to dry in the hopes to restore service and reconnect the home owner to the field. Drain field failed to dry and showed need for replacement. Soil Scientist was recommended for the study of the property and submission of health department plans. Per health department regulations, no system is to be replaced with out Soil Scientist study of property. At this point, Freedom Plumbers remained on standby for the approved permit to replace the field. Freedom Plumbers interaction with the home owner was placed on hold. Somewhere between Freedom Plumbers last visit and two days ago (6-8 weeks), home owner called stating that communication between him and soil scientist had stopped. Freedom made an attempt to get home owner and soil scientist reconnected with out success. Home owner fired soil scientist and some how holds Freedom Plumbers accountable for the lack of communication from the soil scientist. It is important to note, the soil scientist is an individual firm not related to a septic company. Freedom Plumbers does not control the schedule or operations of a soil scientist. Home owner disagreed and holds Freedom Plumbers liable for that matter. Updated: The soil scientist was asked why the communication between him and home owner stopped. His response was that the home owner went three weeks with out signing the proposed plans or providing payment. Soil scientist moved on to other projects. Freedom Plumbers operates on a bedrock of solid integrity, transparency, education and high quality service at a reasonable price. All of our services a quoted before any work is to take place. Work only happens once the home owner understands what value to service they are getting and are ready to place their trust in our hands. We tried to help the home owner realize that the soil scientist and freedom plumbers are not the same firm. Unfortunately, the home owner believes other wise and chose to cut ties with all firms that had anything to do with the original findings. All while stating that it looks like we were not interested in his thousands of dollars of additional work. He also made a partial refund request based on those premises. I do not walk in to a job thinking about all the thousands of dollars I am going to make. I walk in to a job trying to understand the issue at hand while figuring out what options would be of best value for the home owner and the environment. Once the home owner started talking about my "lack of interest" for his Thousands of Dollars, I was already feeling uncomfortable proceeding any further. That type of conversation never ends well. No matter what resolutions or compromise is reached. We wish the home owner well in his continued search for a resolution for his septic system."
