Working with Erick and his team was a real pleasure. They were timely, creative and very open to suggestions and changes. The work was done within budget and on schedule. The resulting work, a fully insulated wine cellar the was even better than we imagined. We would recommend Freedom Ridge Woodworks to anyone, and in fact we have scheduled more work with them this coming Spring.

Jessie and Eric were awesome. They had great ideas to make my swimspa deck look fabulous. Always in communication and project was done when they said even with rain delays. I would highly recommend them.

We had a very challenging and complex project requiring the removal of a concrete top on the old deck. In spite of weather delays and a unique design element, they really delivered with a beautifully executed deck that complements the house. They worked closely with us to ensure our ideas were implemented and that we were satisfied with the finished product.

This was an amazing experience. Erik and Jessie, and crew Lelan, Nikki, and Riley were overflowing with personality. I miss seeing them every day. They built THREE decks for us-2 large and 1 small. The attention to little details was impressive-the edging and trim look sleek and neat. The end of a rail was built to wrap the corner which was an odd angle. Erik and Jessie suggested a modification to an area that was more pleasing and compatible with the higher adjoining deck. They built a planter box to disguise an awkward space between the two decks of different heights. We have officially adopted them as family!

They tried to hide problems with their carpentry. Very combative when asked questions or said everything was finish work. Refused to give us receipts for material we purchased then took left over material and did not refund us. Would not hire them again or recommend them to anyone. Trusted them to be a good standing contractor from home advisors ratings, but was wrong very disappointed. They even walked off from job and didnt finish they had other jobs to do instead of finishing ours. Strongly advise to look else where. I feel like we got punked! Very unhappy in Caldwell

"Hey there! We hope your move from California is going smoothly! As per your review, we would love to clear some things up for you :) You were provided with an itemized list of all materials purchased prior to the beginning of the job which was included with your contract and we went over this in detail with you. Normally contractors do not provide this but, we try to be as transparent as possible. At the end of the job we conducted dump runs as usual and we returned three pressure-treated boards for which we provided a $111.00 receipt. As far as the finished work, we explained to you every step of the way what we were doing and even asked you."
