Do you want your carpets to look cleaner? Don't bother. Are you hoping to have your carpet disinfected? Don't bother. Moving into a new home and due with a baby in one month, I figured it was a worthy investment to clean the carpets before move-in. The first thing our guy, Jacque, said when looking at the darker, high-traffic areas was, 'those spots are not going to come out,' claiming that the carpets, installed in 2011, were 'at least 15 years old'. He also recommended that we have the carpets disinfected because baby was coming....a professional cleaning doesn't disinfect the carpets?! He did use a fancy machine at one point that worked circles on the carpet. When asked if that was to pick up the dirt, he said, 'no, that was what the vacuum was for'. We paid an extra $40.00 for the disinfecting, which he said was a great deal instead of the typical $25/room charge, but it was nothing more than a carpet spray. Might as well have grabbed a vacuum and a can of Lysol or a bottle of vinegar and cleaned the carpets myself! The carpets are fluffed (raked) but otherwise look exactly the same. I have pictures! If you want to see results, just go somewhere else!
