We work with our clients as partners with a common goal, providing consultation as well as services for the duration of your project. Salient specializes in rough/rural boundary surveys. Our internal standards for accuracy exceed all minimum standards for cadastral surveys. From start to finish, we take the time to explain exactly what we're doing, why it needs to be done and when the project is complete we show you the results and answer all questions you have. It's our goal not only to provide perfection in our service, but also to teach you everything you should now about your property as a land owner. We also provide our clients with multiple print deliverables (maps, drawings, and aerial ortho-photos upon project completion.

SCAM. Spent $3,000 and got nothing. He threatened me to remove my reviews or he would send people to my house since he knows where I live. Difficult to sue since he goes into hiding and has no official address. His license E1775161 says he lives on 8200 N Laurelglen Blvd 405 Bakersfield Ca 93311

He is a thief Plain and simple, once he gets paid you'll never see him again and, and more importantly is he doesn't have an office so you'll end up losing your hard earned money so make yourself a favor and avoid this fraud.

Brandon Watson is a fraud. We hired him and no work done. He demanded final payment before giving me the map. When I asked to go to his office, he said he no longer had an office in Fresno. I called the board of land surveyors and they confirmed that he is not a licensed land surveyor. They immediately knew his name and told me he had scammed multiple people. I submitted a formal complaint with Fresno PD. I would advise others who he scammed to do the same. Someone posted a picture of his ID on his yelp page and I would encourage people to file a complaint using his ID. During an email exchange, I sent a picture of his ID to confirm if that was him after reading through reviews stating how he had scammed them. He confirmed it was him.

I recommend that you ask to talk to the surveyor who will be supervising your project before you hire Salient Engineering. Check their license online. Make sure that they will give you a signed drawing with an embossed surveyor seal when they are done. Check if your survey needs to be filed and make sure it is. In most cases, you need these things for a legal document. Brandon Watson took full payment from me and did not do the work.

Great expierence from the start! As a small business owner ourselves it's nice to work with others on the field with the same work ethic and dedication to what they do! Brandon is one of those guys. Very knowledgeable, explained the process thoroughly, very patient with all of our questions & concerns. He blew us away with the completion of our "last minute" survey. We were a "maybe" able to squeeze you in to a "got it done" @ 11 pm next day! ? WOW! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Just WOW! Bravo Brandon. We were not expecting that. Especially right before the holidays. Refuses to answer any of my email inquiries in writing. And because I am emailing to inquiry and to get a full understanding of the boundary survey he did in-person in writing, he alleges I was aggressively emailing but continue to fail to respond to my concerns even when he was PAID IN FULL. When he relays info verbally he tends to change it, etc... For example, he was willing to REFUND, then turn around refuses to follow through after I decided to accept just give me my MONEY BACK. Another surveyor is pending and scheduled.

When I hired Salient I didn't know what to expect having never hired a surveyor. Price was reasonable, the process was a 2 step process I believe due to the complexity of my lot. 1st day was collecting data about a week later the install of the boundary line. Surveyor was knowledgable, friendly and professional. Provided what I needed.
