Nice people are working in their customer service team. But that doesn't help since they were not the people installed my carpet. The technician installed the carpet was very nice, but he is not a expert in his job. I found a lot of flaws in his work and had to give the finishing touch myself. I was satisfied with his behavior but not with his work. Compared to the job, I paid more than I am supposed to.

While we appreciate the compliment regarding the quality of our customer service it's quite unfortunate that you were not completely satisfied with carpet installation. To be completely honest we are very surprised by your review. We reached out to you the day of the installation, right after completion, through both email and phone. And after not hearing back from you, we reached out again the next day. Our installer said that you claimed you were happy with the work that was done, and when contacted, you did not respond or claim anything to the contrary. Perhaps you did not notice the flaws you say you had to touch up yourself until days after the installation, but if there was any issue with the quality of the labor, why not reach out to us through email or phone and let us know what the issue was? We could have made a return trip to evaluate any possible errors that may have occurred during the installation, and done everything in our power to rectify the situation, if there was indeed a problem.

Due to the high HomeAdvisor ratings, I decided to hire "Alex" (of Friendly Floor Covering). Although it was only a re-stretching job, Alex took his time to ensure that the end result was right. It was clear that he wanted me to be satisfied with his work. I am more than satisfied, the carpet looks great, and I would absolutely hire him again should the need arise (or new flooring needed).

If I could rate higher than 5 in all the above categories I would. Alex and the worker who came with him was prompt, professional, and the job came out better than I expected. He originally quoted a price for one large area, (which was 1/2 the price of the Company rated higher than him) and told me that If I wasn't satisfied when he was finished he wouldn't charge anything. As I walked through my home I realized there were other smaller areas needing stretching, repair and refastening. I left him a message to see if he had time to do more work and he complied. He ended up doing 2 large areas and 2 hallways and only wanted $15.00 more than the first quote. I gave him $65.00 more and wished I had more to give. The workmanship and clean-up after were without fault. If anything, he needs to raise his prices, he'd still be competitive and does wonderful work. His customer service is beyond reproach. I will be recommending him to all my friends, and would definitely do business with him again.
