Charlie Hancock and Friendly Plumbing were brought onto our renovation project to install a new HVAC system. Unfortunately, our experience was frustrating and ultimately unresolved. From the start, we had issues. The crew regularly left garbage behind?cups, food containers, and bags were left scattered around the site daily, which was unprofessional and added to the overall mess. More seriously, the HVAC system has not functioned properly since installation. The unit in our den overheats the room, even when set to 61°F, and now shuts down entirely. Charlie initially came back to troubleshoot, but the problem worsened. A rebate program evaluator later identified several installation issues and also noted that Charlie had underreported our home?s square footage by over 600 feet. I?ve made multiple attempts to contact Charlie via phone, text, and email. While he was slow to respond at first, he has not replied to any messages since before December 2024.

We purchased a central air unit to be installed as he recommended. It leaked and we looked at the unit. It was crooked and connected by duct tape instead of fasteners. The ceiling below the unit is damaged bubbled up from the leak and wrecked the wall. He promised to fix it but kept stalling and now tells us to lawyer up its not a big deal. That is not how you deal with your mistakes. I told him to fix the issue and we would not complain. He chose not to. Out of principle i will file with small claims court.

He's a very reliable and professional installer. I've had no issues with him. He does as he says he will, on time and at a reasonable price. He's a man with high integrity.

Great customer service, very friendly, easy, and nice to work with. I don't bother looking around for help from anyone else because I feel like I always get a great job at a great price from Charlie and Friendly..
