On Jan 17, 2022 The owner Calvin Funderburk referred through Angi's List came to the house, and we wrote up a contract (attached for work on a bathroom and pantry for 36,800 dollars, to be completed by March 22 . He collected 12,500 on signing and it was understood that there would be additional payments as the job progressed. On March 15 he asked for and got the second payment of 10,000 dollars. He said he had COVID and we gave him extra time. Work began on April, 11. The work stopped, and he never came back and finish. We kept track of his time spend there and materials delivered, and both came to 4,258 dollars total . One of two workers, who showed up, said they had little experience and said Calvin had not paid him everything owed to him. we have hired another contractor to fi9nish the job and he claims that they had to redo the little work done by Fundy We have pursued him until recently. He seems to be dodging us. We called Angi and a rep told us they could help and we said we would try ourselves first as to not lean on Angi. Now they say it is too late. The Molly at Angi that is listed as the problem solver at Angi on the BBB page does not return our call.
