I hired GAIA to rebuild the stairs to the main entrance of my house as well as the stair at the back of the house. I hired Dan because he seemed knowledgeable and left me with a good impression when he came by to provide his estimate. However, Dan only completed part of the job, requested me pay after partial completion of project and then declined to come back to compete the work for six consecutive weeks (with no guarantee that he would actually show up after 6 weeks given that he had already postponed multiple times the completion of the project with changing excuses). To make matters worse, Dan overcharged me and part of the work he had performed was so badly done that it needed to be redone. After waiting for several weeks colder temperature would have prevented Dan to complete the work for several month. Luckily, I had already made sure that the stair would be completed without Dan. Otherwise, I would not have been able to use my main front entrance for several months.

Anthony and Dan are certainly very pleasant and kind people, but they lack professionalism and capability to do a good job. They installed our fence crooked, it isn t anchored appropriately and has a large amount of sway, the panels are hung at different heights, they started the installation from the wrong direction resulting in it not meeting up with our house and patio properly. We also paid for half the job as a deposit so they could purchase the fencing, but when it came time to pick up the fence they needed more money because they spent our deposit and didn't have enough funds to pay for the fence. We asked them several times to correct the installation but they just dismissed our concerns and told us "it looks great, you will learn to love it". I really wanted to like these guys because they were so nice- but they did a very bad job.

Gaia proved excellent customer service and high-quality work. They were doing some difficult custom cuts on my DIY paver path. The owner, Dan, was a pleasure to work with. He was always available via phone/text to discuss project, estimate, and timing of work. His crew was even professional enough to call me that they were going to be 10 mins late. The crew was friendly, punctual, went the extra mile to do the best job possible, and cleaned up my backyard as if they were never there working. I only had the privilege of working with them for one day, but I have seen enough contractors to know these guys are actually honest, hard-working, and care about their results. I would definitely hire them again if the need arises.

Gaia is a great company in every way. The boss, Dan, is extremely knowledgeable, hard-working, creative, and fair. The crew are very talented, and extraordinarily decent people. I hired them to design and install a garden, and the result is nothing short of a work of art - without comprising anything on function. That, to me, is what makes Gaia really stand out - they can do it all, and will , but where they really excel is in their creative vision and love for their work. I will also add that while Gaia were on the garden project, my general contractor disappeared. I asked Dan for advice on how to get a range of other projects done. Gaia themselves took on some of the work, including designing and installing a sweet new deck and upgrading my windows. Where the tasks were outside of their capabilities, Dan gave me numerous and great referrals so I was able to rebuild a team. Frankly, I couldn't be happier than my general contractor disappeared. Next time, I'll go straight to Gaia!

They are excellent to work with in every respect. They added a driveway and also did some landscaping, I will be using them again for a lot more projects. Fair pricing, fast, excellent work, lovely, cheerful folks.

Very personable. It was great to have this company come at a good time and set everything up immediately. We just put a house up and have had problems galore with service people. This is the first time there has been no problems with a service. I would recommend these people to everyone.

They are frauds. I agreed with them to clean the driveway for snow removal. He showed up and did very little removal took the money and left. When I called and complained that he did very little he promised to come the next day and finish. He never showed up the next day or after that. Recommend Home Advisor to remove them from their site for dishonest services.

This company robbed us. He clamped he went to the location and did the job so when he came to me that evening I paid him. Since I was not able to get to the location that evening. So I went the next day and nothing was done I could see he pulled in the driveway and plowed about ten feet into the driveway that's a hundred feet long. I m not sure I will use Home Advisor again or recommend it to others. I paid this thief $100.00. I tried reaching him by phone but no answer. After talking to others in my area, I was told he does this type of scam to others. Home Advisor needs to do a better job of screening. I will call police if I can't reach him which is what I'm trying to do.
