My husband and I were super pleased with Matt @ Gil Air. His communication was top notch. He took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand. He answered all of our questions and definitely left the line of communication open. We received several quotes tha varied greatly, but felt comfortable and confident in Matt's honesty and integrity. His team was professional, they came in quietly and replaced everything quickly. We are so pleased with our new system and look forward to a cool summer in Houston.

Matt did a really good job. He was very professional, easy to talk to, and explained everything in a way that actually made sense to a non AC person. My AC went out on a Sunday, which is the worst timing, but he didn’t hesitate to come out and take care of it on such short notice. Thank you so much!!! Christmas day our air conditioner went out with the house full of family staying for the week. I called Matt Gill at Gill air and he immediately returned my call. The next morning he arrived at my home at 7:57 and quickly discovered the problem, a bad capacitor. Matt bought the part nearby and was back and installed the capacitor before I knew it. The entire process took well under an hour. I would definitely recommend Matt at Gill air. I thought the price was very reasonable. It's always good to find an honest and reliable person in any business. Matt at Gill air is now in my permanent file.

Responsive, fast, affordable and consistent

Matt with Gil Air is not like you normal AC guy, he truely cares, does not just want to sell a system and will try to fix repair is possible. I had heading and cooling issues for years and if you truely want them fixed call Gil Air, but here is the deal you have to be patient. Troubleshooting isnt always a quick fix like hte ohter guys want to do and you need to be willing to let the systematic troubleshooting process take place to truly fix things. Matt came out and diagnosed the issue then came up with a phased approach. Change one Piece of the system in my case the air dampers. Then measure all the pressures and let it ride for a few days. Then he came back and removed the closed loop tbe builder put in to recirculate and ran it to a room that needed more cooling/ heating. Finally he came out after a few days measured pressure again and did a final rebalance of all ducts. Yes it wasnt done in a day but i dont think you can truely fix a unbalanced system any other way!

Matt built an AC System for our Galveston Home and did a tremendous job! With his expertise, attention to detail and genuine concern of keeping us satisfied by making sure all of our needs were met, we place him in an “above and beyond” category and recommend him to service your HVAC needs. We also appreciate that he traveled outside of the Houston range to service our AC when needed. That says a lot considering his long commute to service us.
