One of the most horrifying experiences I?ve ever had in my life! The movers did not fulfill their obligation. Many many boxes were missing a filing cabinet with some very important stuff in. It was also missing total worth was probably close to about $2000 and when a claim was filed, there was no response whatsoever from the company and an insurance company contacted us later on to let us know that many claims have been filed. No one was able to get a response. Nothing was covered unless there was a roadside accident or things were damaged by fire! Whatever you do do not use this service they do not deserve to be in business and they are not respectable or to be relied upon!

I unfortunately hired this company to move from NM to MD and it was a NIGHTMARE. They are unprofessional, they lost half of my beloved items, what did show up was boxes full of shattered pictures and glass. Their rate was high, I paid 5,000 dollars for less then half of my belongings. They also took 7 weeks to arrive. The front desk receptionist is one of the most rude and unprofessional employees I have ever come across, her named is Renee. She had the audacity to call my cell after I left a negative BBB review calling me a B*tch and cussing up a storm, demanding I remove the review. I believe that is illegal for a company to do such a thing. I am floored by the disrespect and lack of communication they give their customers.

It has takenme a couple months to do this review without completely being overcome with anger but here goes. I write this in hopes I can save others the nightmare this moving company created for my daughter and I as I help to move her from Colorado Springs to Nashville Tennessee. I could write a book because there were so many negative things that happened but Ià ¢à  à  ll try to just give an overview of the big issues. Keep in mind I started with a 3rd party broker but my real trouble was all with Gin and Lou. à ¢à  à  first of all, I canà ¢à  à  t count the number of times I was mislead about time lines. From pick up to delivery to every step in the process. They never kept any timeframe they promised and acted angry or ignored calls when I tried to get updates Trust me, everything they say changes after they drive away with your stuff. MORR MONEY AT EVERY STEP. I first got a quote by phone that seemed at least reasonable. They increase the amount substantially two days before pick up when I was calling for an update. Then when they showed up to pick things up (extremely late) they increased in price substantially again. I know, I shouldâ ve walked away right then, but I now have no options as her lease was expiring that day This time they increased because of stairs, elevators, and long walk. All of which I gave in detail to the person giving me the first quote. Then they stated I had far more square footage demand than the quote was for. However, I gave very very detailed information about what was being picked up and had even less than was actually first quoted. After an extremely stressful process of getting things loaded, some of the rudest people Iâ ve ever met, Then I was given timelines about delivery that clearly no one ever intended to keep. Day after day after day, I could get absolutely no idea of when my stuff would be there. My daughter is not living in an empty apartment with that of her stuff as she starts a new job. They wonâ t even tell me approximately when it will be there. So, the worst was at the end. When things were first loaded, I was afraid of them charging me again when things were delivered at my daughters place in Nashville . I said over and over and over again I did not want to find out there were more charges after they got there. I told them exactly what the delivery spot look like, how many stairs, how far away, every detail I could think of. You guessed it, they finally show up and want several hundred more dollars for what they called a long walk and two flights of stairs. I had told them and put it in writing, there were two flights of stairs, and they were able to to back up right close to the bottom of the first stair. All of this is being delivered to my daughter at her new apartment in Nashville AFTER 10pm After refusing the blackmail of another $800, they begin unloading her stuff at midnight on the walkway in front of the staircase. They refused to do anything more than unload and leave it sitting there. Some of the rudest nastiest people Iâ ve ever imagined in my life. And my 25-year-old daughter is there dealing with this all by herself, my mistake and miss placed trust. What is a father to do but to pay the additional $800 for them to carry it up the stairs. In spite of what was promised, no furniture is put back together and boxes are completely missing I could go on and on and on, but please think about this before you trust this corrupt company with your belongings. I wish there was something more I could do to stop them from hurting others, but this review is all I have. Moving is usually stressful, but the staff at Gin & Lou Moving And Storage made it much less difficult with their experience and caring assistance. The team were extremely efficient and patient. They were very careful with our belongings. Strongly recommend them to everyone.

Great service great price, 10/10. Trustworthy company and employees. Very Honest and Hard Workers, i would recommend again!

BEWARE this is a scam company. It has been a complete nightmare dealing with Gin and Lou. They hide their negative ratings with bot accounts. Extortion is their game, they up charged us by $1300. They are not responsive to customer concerns. They blame everyone else. They blame the customer and call the customer stupid. My items came missing and or broken. Please save your money and your mental health, do not hire this company.

I will never work with a broker again and Belmont is the reason why. At first, they seemed great. The first person I contacted to set up my binding contract for the move was terrific in explaining everything. Everything went downhill from there, however. The QA person who spoke with me the week of my move was calling the wrong number. The movers they brokered with, Gin and Lou, were late arriving because they were calling a different wrong number. They charged me more upon arrival, despite the contract. They quoted me 6-21 days after picking up my things, which was not what Belmont told me. In fact, they were a month late in delivering. They picked up my things in Colorado on 5/27/2022 and I never received them until 7/1/2022 - and this only after I had contacted the Better Business Bureau and a lawyer. No one from Belmont ever took my calls once my things were picked up, and Gin and Lou never returned them either. Horrible service. I will say, the actual laborers were great. All of my stuff arrived, and none of it was broken. Two terrible companies, however. I have definitely learned my lesson, the hard way.
