My husband and I needed to get our fascia board fixed, along with a new roof. We had Brian come out to give us a quote and he was so personal, yet professional, he really gave us a good vibe! Our financial situation has been difficult due to COVID, but Brian and the rest of the GKontos team were extremely patient with us and willing to work with us any way they could! The available financing options they have made it easier for my husband and I to budget out the expenses. The responsiveness and ability to make us feel cared about over the phone and in person, was a huge reason why we decided to go with GKontos for a fascia board (and roof down the line!). We are extremely grateful for the quality of their workmanship, and the quality of every one who works for GKontos. We are very much looking forward to getting our roof done by them in the future. These guys were great from the beginning. Always provided me with updates as the work progresses. They restored the roof and Yankee gutter system on my period home.

GKontos Roofing Specialists just replaced the 3-tab shingles on my roof with GAF architectural shingles. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the shingles and the work to install them. I also could not be more pleased that the replacement was completed within one day even though it became clear after removing the old shingles that the plywood on my roof needed to be replaced before the new shingles could be applied. After watching the roofing crew work and seeing the finished roof, it was apparent why GKontos Roofing Specialists has earned the GAF Master Elite factory certification. The attention to details was exceptional. Removing shingles is a messy job that creates a lot of debris. To help contain the mess, GKontos Roofing Specialists temporarily hung large tarps from my roof while the old roofing material was removed to help collect the debris. After the tarps were removed, a worker rolled a magnet on wheels over the ground around my house to pick up any stray nails that may have eluded the tarps. When GKontos Roofing Specialists left my property, the only evidence that it had been here was an attractive-looking new roof. I also appreciated the fact that the field and office staffs were extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process of selecting shingles and installing them.

From start of the project, through completion this company was friendly, informative and overall wonderful to work with. The work quality is super high and overall they made what should have been a harsh experience a friendly, easy one.

I know I found a very professional and honest roofing company. The men and job supervisor are all extremely hardworking. This company showed up on time and cleaned up each night before they left for the day. Our property was left in better shape than when they arrived. The sales rep. was very diligent and precise in his estimate and made every effort to explain the work that needed to be done on our multi level roof. Even the job foreman explained step by step what was being performed and why. It is good to know that there are some honest building contractors in our Dutchess County NY area.
