They were very pleasant to work with, their prices were very reasonable and they performed the work when they said they would.l highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Somesh and Stephen did a great job painting the bedroom. The team arrived on time and performed quality work. I will be hiring them for additional projects as well as recommending GK Construction.

The guys at this company, Somesh and Stephen are exceptionally nice, friendly, and professional. They go the extra mile to make sure that the customer is pleased. They painted two bedrooms for me and the rooms turned out beautiful, will definitely use them again!

I hired George to paint a bedroom and a closet, they were suppose to fix the peeling on the ceiling and did not fix it correctly, did not prep the walls correctly, can see the old paint, I have wall paint on the ceiling and ceiling paint on the walls, paint missing in areas, nail holes not filled, cleaned the brushes in the bathtub, I sent George an email with pictures about the problem and have not heard from him

Small crew did a great job with fence repair. Will have them come back to complete a few other jobs.

While I was initially contacted by someone from GK's construction, the person who showed up at my home to give a cost estimate was from another company called FJ Maintenance Services. I needed five items done at my home of which only two were completed as discussed, i.e., 1. Painting two ledger boards (I provided the paint) and 2. fixing one of the clasps of the gutter. One of my bedroom windows was missing a trim on the outside. The trims the person got with him on the day of the work were not of the right size, so instead of getting the right one, his solution was to paint over the exposed wood. Second on the list was to repair a sagging wooden gate in the backyard which was not functional. After the repair work, the gate is still not functional. Moreover, the latch that was re-positioned doesn't fit, so anyone from outside can enter the backyard. Lastly, the top rail of the fence needed to be replaced which was done fine. However, he left the old rotten wood rail with nails in them on the outside of the fence where someone could have walked over them. I realized later that I hadn't seen them take away the old rail, so I went outside after work and found them lying there and put the pieces back into my yard. Basically, I ended up paying $600 for painting two wooden boards, adding one nail for the gutter, and replacing the top rail on my fence, which I feel is overpaying.

They showed up, couldnt read instruction that came with the material couldnt do the project. I asked them to leave my home. They literally asked me to assist, thats when I asked them to leave.

The company owner was very responsive to my questions and stuck to the work schedule he promised. The person who actually worked on my fan installation was very professional and attentive to my recommendations on work details.

They did great work all in all, the only thing was they sent out a subcontractor who had a different company name, so it was difficult to know who was responsible for the work, and they installed the wrong trim but I couldn't be sure that I specifically asked them to restore the water damaged area exactly as it was, when I asked them about it they said the trim original to the house was a "old type", but it is just a 1x4, and they said the new trim was already cut, and since I could easily replace the trim myself, I let them install the new trim. What they did install looked good so I am generally happy with the work.

I was communicating with George from GK's Construction. A gentleman show up at my door....I asked him, are you George and he said George sent me, FJ maintenance service did the work. He quote 2000.00 to replace 12 tiles in the bathroom, remove plaster from the bedroom and paint, stain the porch. doing the job we decided to patch the ceiling instead of doing the entire ceiling. He only put one coat of stain on the porch. he repaired damaged area around the sink but did not paint. After the job he wanted to charge me 1,900.00 I told him no way because you patched the ceiling. I offered him 1500.00 that I thought was to much. He accepted. I was not happy with this sub contractor. He asked for 700.00 to buy material,,,,he probably purchase around 150.00 in material. I was not happy with this service.

They did a great job installing a bedroom closet. I would hire them again.

I would not recommend GK Construction LLC. I hired them to install a dishwasher on April 6,2019, and received a confirmation that someone would do the work between 10am-11am on April 18, 2019 which is the date I requested. I reached out to GK at 7am today to confirm times and did not get a response. I contacted again at 10am and still had no response. GK texted at 10:45 am asking what work I wanted done and what my address was. I sent him screenshots of our previous conversation two weeks ago. I asked what the status was of someone coming out to my home at 11:45 am, and he said he would be here at 2pm. I did not hear from him and I decided to hire another company at 3pm. I informed GK of this and he responded with -Welcome- Also, GK was going to charge $200 to do the install and the professional I just hired will do it for $79 and actually show up. I would avoid this business if you value your time and communication with the professional you hire. There was none outside of being hired and no apology missing the 11am scheduled time, committing to be here at 2pm, and no showing.

He came the next day and did everything he said. What he couldn't finished he came back the following day.

They were professional, everything done beyond expectation, clean up and hauled off all materials as well I would highly reccommend

I hired Melvin/GK for my roof and other work around the house. I found him very honest and conducts himself with high level of ethics when doing his job. He has become my go to guy.

They were very timely and neat.

They worked worked long hours under difficult conditions--it was hot and humid. They charged the agreed upon, established fee even though the scope of the project was found to be larger than the original.

Contractor arrived before schedule time, clean up was excellent and work was very good.

The owner/manager is a very nice and attentive person.

When replacing old siding,you just don't know what to expect. GK came out and gave a real fair explanation of what was needed. Yes it takes time,but you are also dealing with the weather. I knew that going I wasn't sure how long because the shed was here before me. They came out and worked on the project every day including rain delays. Nice work.

They did an excellent job, prompt service, dedicated to the project. I highly recommend them. We have hired them to do more projects for us.
