Gilbert showed up on time and did the work as promised. The site was cleaned every day and the crew was polite and professional. Work was finished on time and professionally completed. His prices were competitive.

Gilbert was honest and his crews were excellent. It did take longer than normal to get the job started but that was a result of Covid-19 as suppy chain was interrupted and building materials were in scare supply for all contractors. His crew kept the yard picked up every day and were extremely helpful in answering our questions and keeping us informed.

Gilbert, Jamie, Butch and Anthony all did work for me....repainting my brick home, laying vinyl floors throughout, interior painting, replacing gutters, window insulation, roofing and siding of an unattached shed, electrical rewiring, hanging exterior door, replaced rotted utility floor, and a myriad of small handyman tasks like replacing a sink, garbage disposal and hoses to my ice maker. I would definitely use these gentleman again. Gilbert is the owner, and is old school in that he wants to leave a happy customer behind. Butch seems to be the electrical guy. Anthony is the carrying and fetching helper. Jamie seems to be an all around general maintenance/builder/construction guy. Together, they make a great crew and have been able to successfully tackle all the jobs I’ve had for them.

They replaced doors and siding on our house. I and my neighbors are all very satisfied with the craftsmanship of the job. The crew was very professional and respectful. Kept us aware of what they were doing and always on time. I would and have been recommended to my neighbors. Job well done and very reasonable. Jamie and John are the best.

The crew at GL Hughes was fantastic. They were on time everyday and diligent in their craftsmanship and work. We had a major siding project for our house and they took care of without any issues. They filled us in on every step along the way and when they were finished, cleaned up as to not even knowing they were there. I would recommend them without a shadow of a doubt.

The customer service was superior! I had vinyl siding, new doors, windows and front porch railing and deck replaced! Also a few other small jobs around the outside. I was given all the prices broken down for everything the crew did. Made good suggestions for some repairs. No pressure! The workers were very professional and cleaned up every day before leaving. My house looks beautiful and I am so appreciative. I would highly recommend this company 120%. Thanks to everyone that worked on my house.

I highly recommend GL Hughes. Mr. Hughes made the process very easy and quick. He didn t try to sell me. He provided and fair quote with line item details. He answered my questions and gave me his professional advice on how I should repair and replace my vinyl siding. His team was courteous and kept the work area neat and clean throughout the job. Again, highly recommended!!
