GM Locksmith

I hired GM locksmith and they came 1 hour late, but message was left by the locksmith that he would be a little late. As stated, $15 to $35 for a lock change. Note each door lock was re-keyed times two, but when he came I had three different phone numbers for him. GM 916-577-2700 and AGD Locksmith was on the van he drove 916-999-1826 and on the business card provided, Sacramento Locksmith 916-550-9811. His ad on Home Advisor stated his agreement would terminate 7-31-18. So all of this different information was concerning, confusing and slightly alarming. To let a stranger re-key your entire house and I was charged more than expected. However, the work was good and completed within one hour. Despite two lengthy long phone calls it took, along with a cigarette break - don't get me wrong the work was solid and done at least on the day planned and urgent as it was one or two days notice.

They came a day earlier than the original time.

Honest, worked quickly, pleasant

$180 to open a door in 5 min. Nonetheless, great service, just a little expensive for the work.

We had 10 different locks that needed re-keying shortly after we moved into our house. GM was out the morning after the night we called, and they did the work quickly and without damaging our doors or existing fixtures. Very good service and value.

Quick and professional

No show for first appointment. After lock was changed the whole doorknob fell off and he failed to show up for the appointment to fix it. Eventually fixed it, but I did not appreciate the missed appointments or high price.

I would have given them 5 stars, they were on time, worked in the pouring rain and did it quickly. Price was good too. BUT, I asked them 4 times, 2 times before they came out 1 before they started and 1 during the work if they could give a fob that works with Remote Start like my old one. They said yes and then didn't provide it. I was pretty upset cuz I told them that was the only reason I went ahead with the work. Now I have to go to the dealer and buy an additional fob at a price of $150. I paid him for the work and the key, but told them not happy. They apologized. I just think they didn't know what I was talking about.
