Live in historic East Row Newport, KY. I do a lot of paid painting jobs myself but the old houses in Newport are not easy to paint so I decided to hire. Saw these guys painting down the street and asked for a quote. They were prompt and thorough with the quote. Based on the price and how I saw them working on the house down the street, I hired them. They showed up on the determined start date. It's a small company so sometimes things would come up, or if weather prevented them from showing up they communicated about it. Their prep work was impressive. They took a lot of old paint off which is a very important part of the process. Messy, but important. As with any paint job, touch ups are inevitable. It took a minute for them to get by and do the touch ups (again, small company...already moved on to the next job) but they did finish. The job was completed in August. I wanted to wait to write this review to see if any other issues came up. They did not. Looks good/should stay good!

They did a great job, were thorough to explain every step of the process to us, they covered everything in the kitchen not being painted and left the house clean and the way they found it. Would recommend them to others.

This company is great to work with. I have a two story home and painting my gables is not an easy task, but they did it. I was given a typed up estimate before work started. They really listened to what I wanted done, and did exactly that. They are very good workers, prepping the surfaces pressure washing, then taping, then painting surfaces twice and finally cleaning up. I am very pleased, and I will call them again. I would definitely recommend using GM Painting.
