G Metz Moving, Inc.

I hired G Metz Moving and they were fantastic. We were moving one of the days were it was snowing out and they still came out and flawlessly completed my move. I was scared the weather was going to hinder moving but that was not the case! I would highly recommend G Metz Moving to anyone moving!

I was given a range of what the job would cost. The move was completed right within the 3 hour time frame, however my end bill was $68 more than the highest estimate given. When I called and later emailed Amanda at the Metz group asking for a final detailed invoice to see what the extra charge was for the only thing I got back was another copy of the original estimate. This is something you should demand before paying the extra money or you will never get a response!

Movers were timely and went out of their way to do their job.

hourly rate of $95 per hour worked out no less than previous movers i had with three workers plus no breakdown of chargers because use of ipad

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They damaged multiple pieces of furniture, as well as my driveway. The owner will not return any phone calls or messages about repairs or reimbursement. The delivery guys were stoned when they arrived at the second house, they didn’t wrap any furniture, and we’re afraid to go up and down staircases with furniture. ABSOLUTE JOKE of a company and owner. See you in court George you joker!

moving? hire G Metz. They quoted me an hourly rate for 4 guys. They kept me updated via email throughout the process, called a couple days in advance to confirm, showed up when they said they would. Only 3 guys were able to show, they adjusted the hourly rate accordingly without prompting. The took great care with all our stuff, wrapped everything in blankets, securely stowed dresser mirrors and the 55" flat screen; I was gently scolded for trying to help ("that&apos;s what you&apos;re paying us for!!") Even with three guys (<3 sean, paul and eli), they were dead on the estimated move timeframe from start to finish. I don&apos;t ever plan to move again, but if I do, I&apos;m calling G Metz.

Overcharged for time spent. I was given some money back but not enough. If I hadn&apos;t called, I would have paid for three hours of service;when in fact,it was less than two hours of work. I was told the work would be done in the afternoon, but they showed up in the morning. I was charged for that time as I had to make arrangements for someone to be there even though I had a later appointment. If you decide to go with this company ask specific questions. Although I would not recommend them.

Claude and Eric were personable and professional. They moved everything from one space to another within 2 hours. I highly recommend this company for your moving needs.

Excellent company - they did an awesome job!

They destroyed property. They backed over an expensive wooden arbor with the moving truck, and despite acknowledging fault they refuse to pay for the repair after many attempts. They also tore a mattress from end to end during the move and denied it, saying it was already like that. (It was definitely not already like that!)

Did the move carefully and under budget. Thanks!

They made our move so simple, I would definitely hire this company again.
