We hired GNC General Construction to pour a new concrete patio and to redo our front steps, which were very uneven. They also replaced our old, rotted support columns. They initially did what I thought was a fantastic job. They work hard and everything went pretty smoothly. Even after the bill was paid, I noticed a minor issue that they came back to resolve very quickly. They gave a 10-year warranty on the patio, which it turns out is useless. Fast forward a few months and after the snow, there are lots of areas where the concrete has started delaminating and coming apart in pieces. I called and initially spoke with Fabio Giordano, who claimed that Dan Cannizzo bought that part of the business and is responsible for fixing it. I then called and spoke with Dan Cannizzo about the problem and he assured me that he'd be in touch in a day or 2 to come and see it. The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early and were willing to reschedule the final walkthrough multiple times to accommodate our schedule. Final project turned out great!

Great family owned business. The most recent work they did for my wife and myself was a new roof installation. I must say it was a great experience right from the start! First we met with Dan to go over all the details of the roof as well as setting up and scheduling of the exam. Every time we needed to contact him, he either answered or responded within an hour which really stood out to us most. Sometimes itâ s hard getting these guys on the phone. Then came installation day. Fabio was the man in charge of the project. He made sure the job went as smooth as possible, in which case it did. He even took me around the property and made sure every square inch of the property was cleaned so my wife and I wouldnâ t have to be worried about running over any nails that might have been left behind after the job was completed. At the end of the job, both Dan and Fabio walked my wife and myself around the house to show the final product. All the materials as well as the roof itself are under warranty as well as the labor. We had such a great experience that we are already scheduled to have our siding done! Great job Dan and Fabio, your work is much appreciated!!!

My wife and I are very happy that we went with GNC General Construction for our roof replacement. Every step of the process from initial contact to the end of the project was clearly outlined to us. Fabio who came out to our house to give us the quote spent over an hour walking us through every product they use and the process they use to make sure that the roof is properly ventilated. Also Dan was friendly and communicated well, the team the did the tear down and install was professional and friendly. Afterwards they swept the lawn three times to pickup extra nails. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for any renovation needs.

Worked with Dan over multiple projects including roof replacement, chimney removal, siding installation, masonry steps installation, pavers installation, brick restoration and even some carpentry to resupport damage floor joists. He communicated clearly and was always available willing to problem solve together and figure out whatâ s right for both of us in terms of budget and trade offs. In the rare occasion of a mistake being made(unavoidable with so many large projects) he made sure to step in and make it right. Youâ re in good hands with GNC and I would consider them for future projects.

It took me 3 months this year to find the right construction company for concrete & pergola construction. I found this company via YELPS. I have interviewed 3 companies before that advertised in the weekly circulars. and GNC was the 4th. It was the perfect fit. My project was a concrete flooring and Pergola on top of it in my backyard. The Pergola was assembled by them as well & they did a great job. It was a wait but overall, I'm a satisfied customer. It's a perfect staycation place for me 3 seasons, year after year. Also, they fixed the pipe on my roof. I highly recommend them. It was truly a job well done. Dan is friendly & professional at the same time. Most of all, he listens to the needs of the customer.

Dan and his team did a full rip off/replace (+repair) asphalt roof, plus installed a cupola and half round gutters/leaders, and repointed our chimney. I interviewed many contractors and had a very specific wishlist. Their price was fair, the team was extremely professional and responsive, and the work came out fantastic. I would highly recommend them & look forward to working w them again.

Dealt with Dan. Who is a sweat heart. I could meet him only after work which gets really late for me. He came over twice. Went over the job. Showed me samples of what we wanted the second time around. After signing with them. They were literally in and out. Took them two days to replace my retaining wall. Highly recommend. Will definitely do more with them in the near future.
