I normally do not write reviews, but Gold Remodeling and Daniel Goldstein earned this one. Daniel was the lead project manager on a very large remodel at my home in Walnut Creek. We did a full custom master bath, replaced every window in the house, and completely redid the backyard including artificial turf. Total spend was around $300,000. I'm probably not the easiest client in the world because I'm a retired chemical engineer and spent years managing projects myself. I ask questions, I challenge things, and I expect straight answers. Construction projects always have conflict, surprises, changes, and moments where things get tense. That is normal. What stood out to me about Daniel was -- integrity. I can honestly say Daniel is one of the most honest project managers I have ever worked with. He did not tell me what I wanted to hear. He told me the truth. If something was wrong, he dealt with it. If something cost more, he explained it. If there was bad news, he did not hide from it. There are a lot of people in construction who are good at selling. Daniel stood out because I trusted him. I would absolutely work with him again and wish him success.

The new designs look modern and clean, with great tile work, nice fixtures, and everything feels so much higher quality. They did a really professional job from start to finish. We just had GOLD REMODELING do a big remodel on our house and they did an amazing job! They completely redid our large kitchen, two bathrooms, the driveway, built a retaining wall, and added some really nice features in the backyard. Everything turned out beautiful and the quality is top notch. What really made them stand out was the owner, Daniel. hHe was super caring right from the planning stage. Even tho we had four companies biddingg, he was the only one who kept textingg me and giving us personal attention the whole time. He stayyed involved thru the entire project which made us feel so much better. His price was very fair too. We feel like we got way more value than what we paid. Highly recommend them if your looking to invest in your house
