Peter and his team did an excellent job tuckpointing and repairing brick near my third floor window. I had water coming in and they fixed the issue. I would definitely work with them again.

GP Construction Group: After our horrific experience with this construction company, I would strongly discourage anyone from hiring them. When our 10-unit condo building needed tuckpointing and brick sealant work done, our management company, Triview, subcontracted the work to GP Construction Group (GPCG). On its website, Triview statesœThrough trusted vendors and our in-house maintenance team, we do anything from routine maintenance to major repair . . . As its client, we relied on Triview to hire a qualified, reputable crew. While GPCG worked on the tuckpoint and sealant project, they agreed to clean and place a filter over the exterior vent located in the same area which was clogged with debris, and which created a fire hazard. We were told by GPCG that they cleaned the vent and replaced its filter. Having no idea that they had failed to complete their work, or to follow common sense safety precautions, we paid the GPCG in full. Some time passed before we discovered how badly we'd been ripped off. During the first hard rain, water began streaming down the interior wall of the area of the building where the œwork had been done, infiltrating the very areas GPCG claimed it had repaired and sealed, causing significant water damage. Another contractor had to be hired to fix GPCGs work. GPCG refused to pay for this corrective action of their work. GPCG had been hired, specifically, to repair and seal the crumbling mortar so that water could not seep into the building. Had they done the work, rainwater wouldn't be flowing down our walls. We refused to give them a second chance to cause further damage, and hired another tuckpointing company to correct GPCG's failures. It was also discovered that GPCG botched the vent job. A new company was hired to address the vent problem which led to the discovery of significant debris, and, incredibly, the remains of a charred bird and its nest, within the vent. The bird would have been in plain view as GPCG placed the new filter over the mouth of the vent. Their actions were not only inhumane but shockingly negligent. Trapping the debris and animals within of which could have started a fire. Despite our repeated demands for reimbursement for non-performance and damage caused by GPCG, GPCG and our (now former) management company, Triview, refuses to discuss the issue and has refused to credit us or accept any responsibility for the incompetent crew (aka œtrusted vendor) they hired. Ours was a costly and horrible experience. One you may wish to avoid.
