We highly recommend GP Construction. Their customer service and work ethic is outstanding. All the guys who did work on our kitchen remodel were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and skilled. They cleaned everything up really well at the end of each day and were very considerate of our having to live among the construction. Marty was our project manager. He works hard to make sure everything is done to his high standards, and he is very patient with new ideas and changes. He is amazing! We will be using them for all future projects.

This must be a new company because workers were learning as they did. Did not have professional contracting experience (didn' t clean up after themselves, didn 't ensure damage wasn' t done to other areas). They sprayed texture and didn't cover things, including my microwave, which I had to replace. Under counter lights put up but didn't all have covers. Furnace floor ducts full of sawdust, wood, spray wood finish and spray texture. Trim wasn't put back correctly. So far their incompetence has cost us over $2500.

GP totally reconstructed our giant deck with Nexan aluminum decking. It s beautiful, carefully constructed and waterproof underneath it. I can finally use my lower deck in all weather. They stuck to the schedule and came when expected. The attention to every detail really made the difference. Thanks GP!

This company under promise over deliver. I had issues and concerns that was not included within the scope, and the crew surprised me with solutions I did not even thought about. They are awesome to work with. The job site was cleaned up daily. The crew was very respectful. I have found my go to contractor.

What started out as simple replacement of deck boards, turned into a need for tear-down and replacement of the entire deck! The process, from the estimate through the finished deck, was exceptional. The deck size was doubled and a second set of steps were added. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of the carpenter are unrivaled. This new deck has garnered many complements as well as folks stopping in the middle of the street just to look!

They have an outstanding work ethics. They did not miss a day of work, even under heavy rains and snow. Completed the job in the time indicated. Early in, late out. Answered every question. Tim was outstanding. I would highly recommend (as I already did), and most definitely call them for other jobs.

I would highly recommend GP Construction to my friends, and will definitely hire them again for other renovation projects for our home. They worked with our budget and planning. I was able to get everything that I wanted from the tiles, the vanity all the way down to the toilet paper holder while staying within the budget.

We were very satisfied with their work. We called Garrett yesterday and hired them again to remodel our master bathroom. His estimate was very fair. This company is very easy to do business with. The quality and timeliness of their work is outstanding. We highly recommend them for any project.

Garrett and his crew worked hard on my floors. When the floors were stained on the first round, they did not meet Garrett's standards so he had the guys re-sand them down and do it over. The living room and dining room turned out ok, but the kitchen is streaky for some reason. He offered to do it over, but I didn't want to go through the mess anymore so I didn't push it. But the kitchen floor doesn't look good. They also remodeled the kitchen and it looks GREAT!

GP Construction (Garrett Pietrock) was hired to purchase all materials, remove and install 2 landings, 12 stairs and handrails system in our split level home. The first quote came in extremely weak (no specific materials) so we worked with Nick his representative, until a satisfactory quote was established and work began. 50% down was provided as per the quote. Day one we were called to the jobsite because Nick was concerned that we wouldn’t be happy with the results of the stain on the handrails and balusters. As it turns out the materials purchases and stained were not the agreed upon products. Nick agreed to replace them at his cost, however he had misquoted us and he needed more money because he quoted two dollars per baluster and they actually cost $8.00 each. Nick also indicated we needed to place the order for over $300 in stair nosing materials clearly covered in the quote because he was out of money. After a thorough walk through of the project (day 1) it was discovered our carpeted family room was being used as a work space resulting in a small can of stain getting tipped over and leaking onto the carpet. A “Stop Work was sent out so we could regroup and discuss specific project expectations the following morning. Day 2 Garratt arrived and informed us he told Nick to stay at home. Garrett agreed the project was off to a poor start from the quote, through the workmanship thus far and the complete unprofessionalism of not protecting our home “we have plenty of drop cloths”. Garrett assured us the original quote was bad and he would send us a revised written quote. Since we didn’t receive anything in writing from Garrett we sent out an email indicating our expectations and that no one would be working on the project until something was received in writing and a receipt was provided for all the materials purchased on our behalf. However the team showed up and continued to work indicating the work they were performing was now a change in scope and they would need more money. This change was due to the stairs having an extra 2” bull nosing they hadn’t notice and it would have to be cut off. Nick had been to the house three times and Garrett had been there after all the materials were removed (day 2). Garrett was aware of the material we were installing there was no mention that additional labor would be needed to remove the bull nosing on our stairs in order to make the products stair nosing work. Garrett still had not provided the revised written quote. By Day 4 Garrett tried to tell us the cost of all flooring materials were not included in the bid, and we even offered to pay 15% over his original bid but that was not enough. Day 5 Garrett Pietrock construction picked up their tools and left leaving a hug mess. Lessons learned: always research the contractor on court view, insist on everything in writing including a detailed price quote with every material listed. This was a contractor –client nightmare.
