GP Homes and Repair just finished up a seamless and painless kitchen remodel for us and Iâ m here to shout their praises from the rooftops. Since we live in central Plano (i.e. a 1970â s house), Iâ ve always dreamed of remodeling our kitchen but was worried about the process and how our family would survive without our main gathering/eating/cooking and entertaining area. Iâ ve heard lots of horror stories and was certain we would be adding to it after we finally made that step. However, enter Nick and David and their whole crew from GP Homes and Repairs and I canâ t say enough fabulous things about the entire process. After our dishwasher started leaking and caused quite a bit of damage to cabinets and flooring in our kitchen, we decided that now was the time to do it. From the beginning steps of designing to demo day and finishing ahead of schedule (on Thanksgiving week), Nick and his team had us fixing our turkey dinner in our new kitchen and surrounded by our loved ones. We are big on communication, professionalism, staying within budget, and quality work. Iâ m happy to say that they exceeded our expectations and check all the boxes. GP Homes and Repairs is incredible!!! We found Nick Pariente (owner of GP) through a simple website search. His high ratings and great reviews made us reach out and we were not disappointed! Could not be more Greathouseâ s we found him and weâ ve already recommended him countless times to friends and Iâ ve contracted with him again for work at my place of business. For our home, we wanted to remove a load-bearing wall between the kitchen and living room, do a full kitchen remodel, and re-texture the walls and ceiling in the living room. Before Nick we had two or three contractors quote us for renovating our new house and all said they could only move the wall based on our budget...that was it! Nick told us he could complete everything in our project and that heâ d work with our budget and he absolutely did! We could not be more pleased with the quality and speed with which Nick worked and the honesty and transparency he provided throughout the process. If we encountered unforeseen expenses he walked me through why and our options...if he could save us money, he did so at every step of the way. Sometimes it can feel like a contractor is trying to squeeze more out of you like they just want to get it done as fast as possible even if youâ re not fully satisfied or they have to cut corners. We NEVER felt that with Nick...he is a great advocate! As an example, when our new countertops were installed by the fabricator they cut the opening for the sink too big and wanted to just caulk it to cover up the mistake, I told Nick how we felt about that and not only got them to recut a new piece of quarts correctly, but he also got us free installation and fabrication on our next project with that fabricator! Weâ re now using that on our guest bathroom renovation. At the end of our project we had gone over our budget by less than $3,000, and that was only because my wife and I chose a nicer quartz material, changed our mind mid project and opted to replace all of our cabinets rather than repurpose some, and bought some mew appliances. On top of all that Nick is a HARD worker!! Rarely, if ever, was there someone working on the house without Nick there working as well. Heâ s skilled and really puts a lot of his own work and effort into his work...Itâ s rare to find a contractor who works hard like that and doesnâ t just contract everything out to other companies. He saved us so much and made this dream of our house come true! We consider him a friend an plan on using him again for some other projects! Thank you Nick!

Nick is very easy to work with, he has a great team, and a good eye for aesthetics. He also leaves a clean work space and treats your house with respect. He's the man!

This company is not like any that we ever experienced in our whole life. This is a proficient company. We had a huge project. The carpet was removed and cut and rolled so neat. Our foundation was scrapped squeaky clean to prep for our beautiful Marble that was installed. He installed approximately 600 square feet of Polished Marble in our home. Hope that I could upload pics of the finish product. It would leave you breathless. The owner kept us informed with every detail being performed. He is a perfectionist, meticulous, & detailed about his work, more than anyone that we have ever seen. He is so kind and very respectful. He is a genius at what he does. We are hiring him for a second project!!!! He is excellent with every aspect of his work. He is always on time. Without hesitation, he starts the job and goes at it until the job is complete. Please believe me it was a task that he had to do. This company is the most honest one still left doing the work that he does. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing work. This company is a 100 plus in customer satisfaction by far. Because of the high quality of work that this company does, he is in high demand. I thank God that we were able to experience this type of greatness in our lifetime with GP Homes and Repairs. We love your expertise with your work that you did for us. God BLESS!!!

GP Homes and Repairs provided excellent service with installing our new Marble floors and removing our old carpet. He is and expert with providing the highest quality of service with his work. He kept us informed with detailed information throughout the project, step by step. He was very courteous and exceptionally polite. He is very neat, clean and organized. Our project was huge. He was always on time each day. He would immediately attended to the task at hand with our project. This business is a 100 in our opinion. We are hiring him again for another project. He is proficient with his work. I would say that this owner is a perfectionist. We have never experienced anything like this, with any other company in our entire life.

If it were possible to give 10 stars, I would do so. Contractor was here every day, produced exactly what I wanted, stayed on top of subcontractors to assure best possible job done, made suggestions for change when what I wanted was not feasible, only exceeded budget when I wanted it done, and quality of work was outstanding. My mother-in-law suite from a garage is the most outstanding transformation I know about. Believe home advisor could use pictures for a job extremely well done.

Nick is very trust worthy and honorable. He takes pride in his work and wants to please you. He did multiple projects in my home, including some that would be considered difficult. He was always on time, showed up when he said he would. Converted 1 bedroom into 2 bedrooms, extended my patio by 10' by 12', repaired my garage walls and painted the garage, power cleaned the garage floors, repaired the casing on the garage door, installed a steel Gazebo in 100 degree heat!!!! , installed bedroom door, added new casing around windows and doors. I will definitely hire Nick again.

Very apprehensive about hiring a contractor bc of past experiences but Nick was very professional, arrived promptly, and communicated efficiently. He redid our staircase in wood and we were very happy with it.

Nick Pariente the owner and General Manager of GP Homes and Repairs was a pleasure to work with. We sat down and worked out all of the details of this project and then we negociated a price which turned out to be very reasonable. Nick then took over the project and scheduled the work in a very efficient and orderly process. All I had to do was pick the paint colors. His employees painted the entire house from ceilings to floorboards. They also updated 3 bathrooms including 2 baths and 1 shower with beautiful ceramic tile. Nick replaced 7 outdated doors with 6 panel doors and upgraded the hardware on every door in the house. All this in 5 weeks. My wife and I are very, very happy with the entire project. We will definitely use GP homes and Repairs again and will recommend Nick and his company anytime we get the chance.

I have hired MANY contractors over the years but I have never been sad to see one leave my house like I was with Nick of GP Homes and Repairs! I have had my share of nightmare contractor projects in my life with this being one of very few that went as promised from start to finish! I understand the meaning of good customer service and Nick very much understands Good Customer Service! Usually people only take the time to write bad reviews but I feel that GP needs recognition for outstanding service and great can do attitude. Highly recommend Nick and his team for any home project!
