As a business manager I have dealt with many contractors over the years. Jack and his team of GP Restoration are the absolute best I have dealt with. Besides my two bathrooms, they removed old grass cloth wall covering from my den as well as painted the Apt. Their work is impeccable. I would come in after work and wherever they were working would be back in place and clean They are honest, reliable and above all just their to make sure whatever they do is to your satisfaction and make sure you are happy with the work. I wish I had found these guys a very long time ago.

Jack is very professional & trustworthy. He & his team did my kitchen & bathroom renovation. He stands out from many others in his profession by being very reliable & punctual & he is pretty much almost always available to answer a question via text/call, even on weekends! He has a friendly attitude & he is generous with advice. The same is true for members of his team. They did an excellent work in my apt & on schedule. I feel lucky to have Jack & his team working on my apt & would gladly recommend them.

My experience with GP Restoration was a pure delight. A non traditional word to use for a home renovation but sincerely true. I had met with 4 other contractors who all basically wasted my time and were not true to their word. Very frustrating! Jack and his team on the other hand are very responsive and understand your time is valuable. He responds quickly and explains things in detail. The work was done on schedule and with very minimal disruption to my life. Jack is a true professional and is always very helpful!

I had interviewed about 4 contractors for my kitchen remediation and remodeling. After few frustrating and confusing communications, I fund Jack. I had used other contractors in the past for other projects and I had concerns about integrity. As a single female in NYC without much knowledge about renovation or what the process was, I had reservations. But, Jack was awesome. First, he does not delay. He showed up ON TIME, gave me quick assessment without delay. He submitted a general basics framework and the analysis. Then he offered to drive me to the warehouse/show room to visually see the product. Lets face is, talking does not justify the actual vision. Then at the showroom, he created a file for me, creating visual picture of the final product with the measurements of my kitchen he brought. He drove me back and was clear on timeline. He started the job ON TIME and each day, he was vigilant about assuring me the time and what I needed to do. When the countertop delivery did not occur ( no fault of his won), he drove me back to the warehouse and we picked another to resolve the issue. Done. He made is so simple, and I never felt so much at ease���unlike my previous experience. He has integrity, great philosophy and its really interactive interpersonal experience. He held my hand emotionally too and I guess that was awesome. If I bought another place, started a new project, I would definitely ask him for honest opinion b/c that is exactly what he would do. No games just honest straightforward. And on a personal level, I would consider him a friend b/c he is definitely one of a kind. I trust him and his staff is exactly the same because he doesn���t hire or work with people who are under-par.

They painted my entire apt in 7 days! All of the work was done on schedule (they actually finished early) with minimal disruption to our lives. The apt looks great now with a fresh coat of paint and beautiful new baseboard molding. In addition to doing the initial paint job they hung a few items on the wall and replaced some hardware for free. Jack is great to work with, very helpful with suggestions, making the whole process very easy from start to finish. I highly recommend this company. I will definitely use them in the future for some other renovation projects.

I had them paint my apt, remodel our bathroom. Jack was very helplful and responded almost immediately to my emails. The work was done quickly. Everything in the bathroom looks great now.

We hired GP Restoration/Jack to add a 2nd bedroom, and remodel bathroom & kitchen. It was completed on time (4 weeks) even with a blizzard/snow storm and 2 holidays within the time frame. Jack and his team did a great job, updating us and helping us pick out materials. My only peeve during the project was there was confusion around our fridge (whether we are keeping it or not) and our fridge and dishwasher were thrown out. We could've donated or gave them to someone since both were functional (we just didn't have the space for the d/w). However, Jack and his team did a lot to make up for this miscommunication and was willing to help us with minor repairs around the house (not in scope) without extra charges. In terms of communication, Jack was amazing. He was proactive and gave me options as well as helped me design the kitchen. I would use them again.

We hired Jack (GP Restoration) to build a second bedroom, and remodel our kitchen and bathroom. Jack was very helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire project. His team got the entire project done on time, which was amazing. His team also helped fixed some minor stuff around our apartment even though it was not in the contract. My only peeve with was they threw away my fridge (there was some confusion around whether we had wanted to keep our old fridge or not). Jack made up for it by helping us on other repairs around the apartment at no cost. He also picked out materials for my son's closet and had them install for free. Overall, I am very happy with the work and professionalism. Jack and his team are amazing to work with and I would definitely hire them again.

I had them paint my apt, glaze my bathtub, extend my closet, replace doors & convert sockets to GFI. Jack was gr8 to wk w/ very helpful w/ ideas, I liked the wk & everything b was completed on time.

Jack delivered more than I can say. He is very professional and very trustworthy and his team especially Lini did a great job. The result of remodeling my kitchen and the many other work including installing doors, lighting fixtures, toilet and pedestal in the bathroom were awesome. In addition, Jack helped me out by driving me and picking up lamps, and furniture, etc. He is incredible. I highly recommend him.

i had to find someone fast to repair the water damaged walls and cabins. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found GP Restoration; they are as dedicated, honest, dependable as they are professional and talented. They did far more than my kitchen - they redid over 800 sq ft of floor putting in a subfloor and hard wood. They redid doors and molding and painted my entire apartment. The results are amazing; the value incredible. It is UNHEARD of to have contractors who say when they will arrive and be there on time, every time. They made what can be a very difficult and risky experience an easy and beautiful one because they know what they are doing and they care.

Jack and his team did the wall painting, molding, and hardware floors in our brand new condo.They were very helpful and understood our family's needs well, and were very clear and patient with explaining their ideas. We really appreciate the fast and quality job they did in making our place feel like a real home! They even put up a huge decorative mirror and installed our TV free of charge. Jack is just great and the whole team is very professional! I hired them to paint my entire apt and they came in the same day for a quick estimation. Jack immediately understood my needs and gave me the cheapest quote out of 5 companies i saw last week. They are licensed painters and went through all the hassle of dealing with my doorman buildings policies in a heartbeat. January 20, 2014 We contracted with Jack of GP Restoration to redo an entire Manhattan co-op apartment. Jack worked with us during the entire process of dealing with the co-op management and the challenges that always seem to arise during construction. Jack always was there to address each situation in a quick and professional manner. I would add that he had showed up for every appointment and went above and beyond his professional duties to cater to our needs. I can honestly say that when the job was completed, it exceeded our expectations.

Jack and his team at GP Restoration did an excellent job painting my apartment. They were prompt, careful, and cleaned up well. The job was well done and I was very satisfied.

Joseph and his assistant were respectful and ready to listen to my comments or needs. Joe even fixed one of my windows without additional cost, saving me a few hundred dollars. Additionally, they keep their promises regarding the time the job would take.
