This company is a joke. They sold me a $30,000 system that was supposed to produce 85% of my energy. If it produces 20% within the month I am lucky. They gave the initial quote then once I agreed they raised the price by $900 saying I need additional support in my roof. All they did was add about 30 2x4s to my joists. While in my attic they put about 6 holes in my ceiling. The best was the way they cut those boards. One of their employees used their foot to karate kick the boards. When I showed the owner video of his employee he said his employee was just showing off for another employee. They marked up the side of my house with their ladders. Once they had my money I realized they sold me on lies. Here is the best part. They installed my system about 3 years ago and now I am receiving an email stating that my system is out of date and I need a new inverter to continue to work. It is $520. I would recommend finding a different company as this one is garbage.

I went with GRNE for our solar install last fall based on vetting done by Solarize Chicagoland. So glad I did! I couldn't recommend them more highly. Every person I've had contact with has been professional and extremely helpful every step of the way, very conscientious and patient with all my questions. The install went great and the panels have been up and running for months now, working like a dream. Thanks GRNE!

I can't recommend GRNE enough! From securing cost-effective pricing, to planning the setup, to getting the permits pushed through when the village was stalling, and finishing off with a quality install, they were there all along the way. It's a small company so you have immediate access to the people who know your system inside and out whenever you need them, and they were more than happy to put up with my many questions throughout the process. These guys really know solar, and are experts in this up-and-coming sector. Communication is spectacular, service is great, and I'm so glad that they will be servicing my system. We interviewed several companies for our home installation project and GRNE Solar was by far the best for quality versus price. They were not the least expensive but also not the most expensive. However, from start to finish they provided answers to all of our questions (and we had a lot of them!). During the installation they were very careful and handled everything beautifully. I myself am meticulous and professional and GRNE Solar is the same so they were a pleasure to work with. I cannot say enough to recommend this company for your solar projects.
