I called the company to replace my garage door opener. The tech provided quote of $750 for installation of the replacement unit. He became very combative when I refused his suggestion to replace my current garage door. He offered to "tune" the door for $200. I refused, as the door was working OK and I needed it to work for another 6 months before house remodeling. After he replaced the door opening mechanism the door didn't close completely. He put the blame first on the door and then on me, that I didn't want to replace it. I stated that the door was closing properly before his service and it still was still closing properly manually. That statement ignited his outburst, that he shouldn't have taken the job in first place and ended in him shouted at me in Arabic. Eventually he managed to make the door closing. I should also mention, that he used the stool he found in the garage to support the door and only cleaned it after work upon my request. It was a very stressful experience.

6/14/26 review update Advanced Garage Door charged an exorbitant amount to replace my garage door opener. I mentioned this in a review. They promised to lower the fee if I changed the review. I changed the review. They never lowered the fee The garage door remote was programmed, his work was efficient and it works well now.

They contacted me right away after made request thru Angi. Tech came out within a few hours on same day and replaced the garage door springs. Overall, very happy with experience.

The repair person was very good.

Super quick on scheduling and we were lucky to have a "normal" garage door with readily available spare parts.

They came out on a Sunday within 2 hours of contacting them. They didn't charge a fee just to come out and assess the problem. They were able to go back and get a part for a 45 year old garage door and install it in a short time. At a decent price.

They were extremely, knowledgeable, and efficient. Great work done and we would use them again.

Our garage door was damaged in the Cedar River flooding and Advance Garage came out the next day and we ordered a new door. They made the scheduling easy with their schedule portal. The gentleman that came out was respectful, knowledgeable and took care of us. No nonsense.

We were very pleased by everything Benjamin did for us. He was here when he said he would be and worked quickly and professionally in all he did. He removed the old springs and installed new one including cable setup and Spring setup until it achieved perfect balance. He also put new rubber on the bottom of the door.
