Guardian Gas Solutions LLC is a licensed, family-owned gas contractor specializing in propane (LP) and natural gas installation, service, and system design across Central and North Florida, including Marion, Orange, Sumter, Hernando, Levy, Alachua, Lake, and Citrus Counties. We provide propane tank installation (above-ground and underground), whole-home gas piping, generator gas lines, tankless water heaters, pool heater gas lines, fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, generator gas lines, and gas appliance installations and conversions. Our team handles permitting across 36+ jurisdictions and ensures full compliance with NFPA 54, NFPA 58, and Florida Building Code (Fuel Gas). We also offer gas leak detection, pressure testing, cathodic protection testing, and annual inspections for all the above. "Andrew? Appreciate the feedback. We?re sorry this visit fell short of your expectations, and sorry we missed meeting you. Our technician replaced the initial part based on Mr. S?s diagnostics, but the unit required an additional component we did not have in stock. We are unable to stock every part for every make/model of fire pit on our service vehicles, it?s simply not feasible; when a needed component isn?t on hand, we advise next steps or, when appropriate, recommend replacement if it?s the more cost-effective solution given the model and condition. Bob shared that the issue was an ignition switch and that he?d been unable to source the part himself?one reason he reached out to us. Regarding the $244 charge: that covered the part installed and the service visit (not sure if you've called around to other gas repairmen, but you should, as the charges were extremely reasonable); we also offered to remove the part once it became clear it wouldn?t resolve the issue and could have returned it and not charged Bob for the part. However, Bob stated to leave it there, a decision we respected. For clarity, we don?t purchase parts and not charge the client?the parts cost is incurred by the client, as that is the only sustainable way to operate fairly across all repairs. Additionally, our service rate isn?t billed in half-hour increments; as Bob was advised up front, a set service charge applies once a technician is dispatched. He agreed to that before we even scheduled him. We are transparent ? always have been. We have bought gas lawn blowers for elderly clients in our community, have two elderly clients we service without charge whatsoever due to their economic status on a routine basis (one of them lives all the way in Putnam County). I think stating someone is a ?rip-off artist? is inflammatory language one would expect from an entirely different scenario/situation, but certainly not this one (as we are the ones who took a loss yesterday). You know nothing about us, but many others do. We tried to be as fair as possible with your father, as you can read. Not sure what was lost in translation, but we don't continue to charge and keep ordering parts, etcetera (that's a rip-off artist) knowing an economy model fire pit could be replaced for cheaper. I hope this explains some things that maybe you didn't witness. We have not received an email from you nor the customer at all. If Mr Bob wants to call back, we attempted to reach out to him via phone, once we saw your review on his behalf, he may call us anytime. He knows our number and has been texting us for two weeks now. Again, no email arrived from you all in an inbox that I personally monitor. Respectfully, Guardian Gas Solutions team."
