I take no pleasure in writing this review, but I would be remiss if I failed to do so. They were not on time, which unfortunately foreshadowed what was to come. Work exceeded original estimation of a week and with such mounting delays, when asked for a new completion date--their only response was, "tomorrow, we'll be finished tomorrow;" which actually translated into two weeks later. After demo I had to clean up the entire mess left behind by demo crew; Proper plastic barriers were not erected to prevent demo mess from going every where and covering everything in the house. When asked about the floor not being leveled, he assured us that he would address it, but never did. When we asked about the "self-leveling compound" needed to be used to create a smooth surface before installing wood flooring--he indicated "that this type of wood did not need it." Regrettably, we accepted and relayed upon his "professional" assessment and knowledge--yet now there are spots on the floor that bounce and are not leveled. When the tile (in connecting room) was damaged from the demo and wood installation, he indicated that he would address it, but did not. There was extensive damaged done to the threshold for the outer door--it's true it was an old threshold, but it was in good condition until it was severely damaged during the installation of the new floor. We had to go out and purchase another threshold, which he was reluctant to install, but he eventually did, only improperly. Weeks passed, yet we could not properly close the door until a family friend managed to make a temporary fix until we can properly resolve that. Several nails stick out of the thresholds placed to the bedrooms, which we have to constantly hammer back into place. In conclusions, although many of the issues are minor (overall) regarding the quality of installation, they are too many to ignore--especially for what he charged and the time he took for the service rendered--and when asked to address/resolve these issues, he promised to return, but never did (please note, I waited five months before writing this review to give him a chance to fulfill his professional obligation, but our messages went unanswered if not ignored). Despite our better judgment, we gave him the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity, but in the end--regrettably--we were highly disappointed at the lack of quality in the service he provided.

They were clean, efficient and professional

Gabriel and his crew were professional and did what they were hired to do and even a little more. The work was done on time and within budget. I would recommend Gabriel to anyone who needs tile installation and/or repairs. He is licensed by Miami Dade County and works in a professional manner.
