We recently decided to renovate our inground pool, which had been built in 1999. We had used the pool heavily while our kids were young, but had not used it years and, in fact, we had left it empty for the past 3-4 years. We looked for a company to restore the crumbling marcite and replace the old pool equipment at a reasonable price. We came across Gainesville Pool Renovators (352-380-0205), a true family business, during our online search for companies serving our rural area. The owner, Sarah Singleton, came out to the house and immediately set us at ease about the possibility of restoring our cement pond back to its full functional status without breaking the bank. She helped us select the exposed aggregate marcite, pool equipment, waterline tile, etc. Her husband (Paul C.) also came out to the house and helped us with some of the more technical aspects as stapling of multiple cracks, and choice of a variable speed/variable flow pump, a salt water chlorine generator system, etc. Once the scope and cost of the work to be done was agreed upon, we picked an approximate date to start the project. The job started on the date selected, and Paul and his crew (John, Kyle) arrived and started work in the blazing heat of mid-July north central Florida. All of his crew were friendly and professional. The work proceeded quickly and we were extremely pleased with their craftsmanship and attention to detail. Paul and Sarah remained totally involved and available to answer our relentless questions as the project progressed. In the end, we were left with a beautifully restored pool with whisper quiet equipment which saves greatly on electricity. Pool maintenance is also significantly reduced from the prior misery of the old system from the late 1990s.
