Gallegher makes you feel more like family than a customer. They are professional and personable. I had an idea but it wasn't going to work, my salesperson came up with a very creative idea. I never would have thought of it.

Do not hire this company! We signed a contract for a screened porch, attached deck, electrical work, rock underneath and disposal of old deck on 7/15/16 and paid a 50% deposit. We were told by Megan our job would start in 2-3 weeks and take 2-3 weeks to complete. Fast forward to Oct. 3 when our job actually started, after several rounds of arguments, no phone calls, numerous excuses like weather,no crew, or no materials. They built our decks, but 1/2 thru the contract, called the village to complete the final inspection, the same day they tried to ask us for an additional $7k in money (our contract says balance due at end of job). Gallagher told us the inspector was out for the 2nd inspection, not that they called for the final inspection either. Something didn't sound right so we called the building inspector ourselves and found out they called for a final inspection even though they job wasn't complete and 1/2 the job wasn't even finished per the contract. The building inspector was surprised and irritated that he had been called out when the job clearly wasn't done, and he failed the job of course. They also failed to properly install flashing on the roof when they tied the deck roof into the house roof. That took 3 phone calls, several emails, and text messages of pictures to one of the owners over a period of 3 weeks after the roof was leaking in several rain storms, got the village building inspector involved to finally get them to come out and correct the job. That was 10/21. Today is 12/8 and no one has been since. Our job is only 1/2 done per the contract. We don'™t have screens or Plexiglas installed on the screen porch, none of the electrical work has been started, sill paper and rock were supposed to be put under the deck, a roll up door with access to under the deck is still to be ordered and installed, and we still have a full dumpster in our driveway. On 10/21 we were told they were ordering screens and plexi-glass and that it would take 10days. Here we are almost 8 weeks later with no phone call or follow up and have no idea where our project stands, though we have emailed 2 legal demand letters requesting either restart dates or to walk away from the job. The only response we keep getting is vague answers like œwe will finish your job. The most recent response was on 11/21 that said œwe are discussing your file tomorrow and have all the answers for you then. Almost 3 weeks later, we still have no answers or follow-up. There is now snow on the ground and below freezing temperatures. I™m not sure how they think they will lay sill paper and rock with 7 inches of snow on the ground and more expected to fall this weekend. I have several email and text communications with this company to show our case. Mike Gallagher is extremely rude, even telling me at one point to take a referral to another company. Megan will promise you the world, call all the time and is sweet. She will offer to drive to you to sign the

We contracted with Gallagher Construction Group(GCG) for labor and consumables in the demolition and installation of a new bathroom. Gallagher Construction Group was provided cut sheets for all owner provided finished cabinets, plumbing fixtures, tile, toilet, light fixture and shower door. They also provide written agreement to follow Condo Association Rules and Regs. The complaint against Gallagher Construction Group is that they subcontracted out the job completely using an entity that was created after we executed the agreement with Gallagher in order to shield their liability. The result was substandard work executed by unskilled workman and Gallagher is unwilling to address the deficiencies. Tiles are miscut and installed unevenly. Reinstalled bifold door binds agents the drywall opening. Finished trim was not mitered or properly installed and cabinetry was damaged in the installation. Gallagher misrepresentations are numerous. The subcontracting was done without my consent and it appears to be their business model, accepting work and payment under their company name and then creating another entities for unskilled labor in order to limit liability. Their insurance company has denied a claim under their General Liability due to the fact that Gallagher is a "paper contractor" that actually doesn't perform any work. Fortunately the subcontractor left all his paperwork to help piece together their way of doing business. Other consumer agreements and corresponding subcontracts were left so this is not a one off situation.

Gallagher was referred to us by a friend. They were good with their communications. The guy who did the basement was good about letting us know what was being done and communication of their time frame to have the work done.
