We needed a solution for our old, cracked, peeling paint covered, concrete front porch. We searched HomeAdvisor for contractors and found Garage Kings, as well as two others. Of the 3 contractors we contacted, Garage Kings were the only ones to come out to see the project. Another company did give a quote based on pictures that I sent them, but the third never followed thru at all. It was clear from the start that Nelson with Garage Kings knows his product and his business. He detailed every step that would be taken and why. I was very confident in his expertise. Fast forward to the installation... First, they were able to work our project in quickly to help keep our other work on track. Then, they came out to do the job and they cut no corners in preparing our old concrete for the new coating. The ground down the old surface and even used a nice, dust management vacuum to keep the mess under control. The resulting smoothness of the decking, after the crack filler was applied and the grinding was complete, was amazing. I mean, we are talking about an 80+ year old slab of concrete with big cracks from settling. Let me be clear, this was not a "leveling" process. That would be entirely different, but we have a nice, smooth surface now. Then, the rain started... While the rain, and Thanksgiving holiday interrupted our schedule, they came back as soon as it had all passed to complete the project. And this is where the best part of the story is. They applied the epoxy coating and we just could not believe how good the porch looked. Complete transformation! However, a closer inspection revealed some excessively sharp areas that were truly uncomfortable to the touch, as well as a few areas that just seemed to have "soaked up" the epoxy. We just were not satisfied with the end result. Nelson came back out and looked over the whole porch and he just knew that we were not going to be satisfied with the finish, even though it was sufficient for the warranty and he thought there would be no problems with any chipping, peeling, or water gathering. So, taking no half measures, they came back out, buffed down all the rough areas, and applied an entire second coat of epoxy. The end result is absolutely amazing! We are so happy with Garage Kings and the work that they did for us. We recommend them highly and without hesitation to anyone looking for a dynamic new finish for any concrete flooring. So happy.

Theses guys pay attention to detail. They wrapped up the side walls so the whole floor and a foot up is completely sealed. My children love it and I clean it with a blower and it looks brand new ever after a storm when I forget to put the door down

These two brothers were so courteous from the beginning to the end with communication being a clear top priority. My garage was cracked all over and what I thought was beyond repair. Nelson & Logan both came by to measure the cracks and determine the right flexible polymer. They came later to cut them out, fill them, & left me with beautiful floors! ( they even added glitter for me to make it sparkle)

Nelson was available on a moments notice and the Peak Epoxy Facebook page gave us options to look at which helped my wife pick her poison. They came on time in uniforms and even the techs answered my product questions. This team knows flooring cold. Excited for my new metallic in the basement!

I had a concrete overlay over a large crack in my front concrete porch as a result of a foundation issue that was fixed by helix pillars. I also had a concrete slab patio with fractures ( also with a concrete overlay). They removed overlay, fixed cracks , prepped surface and coated with that premium flake decorative coating. I couldnâ t be more pleased with the results. They did not only fix my issues, both projects are actually beautiful! Highly recommended.

We had our concrete patio coated. The customer service by Nelson and crew was outstanding. They were responsive (hard to find in Raleigh), quick, and the quality was amazing. First call to install was less than a week. The crew cleaned up after themselves, and even corrected a mistake WE made without complaint. The crew repaired cracks and gouges in the patio and the whole thing looks brand new - a custom job. Worth every penny. If you're considering getting a garage spruced up, or an outside patio beautified and structurally improved - consider this local company. They're worth what they ask.
