Reviews
Write a ReviewDanny with GU was great to work with and he has the best crews. Work was all performed as advertised and with excellent results. The floor is amazing. Price was very reasonable. Much appreciated!!!
Recently the extension springs on one of my garage door openers broke. Initially I contacted a popular garage door service in Cedar Park. They came out and reviewed the situation and told me that the extension springs needed to be replaced. I got two estimates from them. The first estimate was to use the same type of springs; however they told me they didn't carry them anymore and it might take two weeks to get some.....assuming that they were still available. The second estimate was to use torsion springs, which are newer and more expensive and readily available. After looking at the two estimates, I decided to call Garage Up Central Austin to get their opinion and an estimate on the broken springs. I spoke to the Danny, the owner, who was very nice, helpful, and professional. He assigned Rod as the technician to determine what was needed and to do the repair. Rod arrived at my house early the next morning. He looked at the damaged springs and told me that it wouldn't be a problem to replace them with the same type of springs and gave me an estimate that was much cheaper than the estimate I had received from the other company. What I really liked was that he didn't try to take advantage of the opportunity to upsell me on the more expensive springs or other things. After I gave Rod my approval on the estimate, he left my house and then returned with the new springs which he had no problem finding. (I found that very interesting!!) Rod installed the new springs and did an excellent job. Rod was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend Rod if you need help with regarding your garage door or door opener. FYI......and the best part of all was that I was that I was able to save $425!!! I was charged $278 by Garage Up Central Austin. The other business gave me an estimate of $703 for replacing the springs....assuming they could find them the same kind of springs. I want to thank both Danny and Rod for helping to get my garage door opener back in working condition. It was delightful to deal with a business whom I could trust to do the right thing without trying to take advantage of me or the situation. I would not hesitate to use them again! So.....if you need help with your garage door/opener, I would HIGHLY recommend that you contact Garage Up Central Austin and see what they can do for you. And FYI.......l live in Lago Vista (so not in Central Austin).
They were so wonderful! My car was locked in my garage and the technician came and open the garage door for me so I could get out. Then the next day he came and put in a new spring and it was a lovely job! Walter did a great job! Thank you so much.
Quick service, friendly people, reasonable prices. 10/10 recommend!
Pam and Danny are amazing people who care about getting the work done right for their customers. Delighted to work with them.
Any issues were addressed promptly. Good people!
