Cristhian was extremely easy to talk to and put together a good quote. He did a good job on tile, but his drywall work was less clean. He worked very hard and completed all scope promised and was proud of his work.

On 9/5/2015 Garcia Services came to my house to repair a small chip in my granite countertop. It was indicated on their website that they serviced my area and that they fully guaranteed their work. In fact it was clearly stipulated on their website that their work carried a six month warranty. The work was preformed within a short period of time whereby the small chip was filled in with some type of epoxy. A day or two later I noticed the filler put in did not adhere and was no longer filling the chip. In fact the chipped area reverted to the way it was prior to any work done. I would like to stress that I knew going into this project that the filled area would not be perfectly the same the rest of the granite countertop. Notwithstanding I did not expect the epoxy filler not at all to adhere after a day or so and leave me in the same situation I had prior to the work being performed. I called Garcia Services immediately when I noticed the chip was exposed again and asked that they come to repair it. The response I received was that they would not come to view the situation. It would have been clear that the filler did not hold if in fact they came back to look at it. Apparently it was not worth the effort for such a small job. As for me this was an important job that I entrusted to this company. The following week I had no choice but to purchase a granite epoxy filler from a company called Defusco Industrial Supply and do the job myself. I must confess the job I did remains fully intact. I guess the advertising of a the six month warranty and 100% satisfaction claim was not accurate in my case. In fact there was a refusal to even take a look at their shoddy work. This is a company I would fully stay away from as they are very unethical.
Response by Garcia Services, LLC: This was a flat rate visit fee of $80 we traveled over an hour to see and patch a tiny chip on a granite slab. He was pleased when completed and paid for the visit. We clearly stated before the visit that there were no warranties offered for this type of repair and that we would do the best to imitate the stone using an epoxy filler. Then we finish the job and we tell him not to touch the spot for a day and he was touching and putting his nail on the filler even before we left the house. This could be the main reason the filler did not even had the minimum setting time before he touched it and made it fall. He disputed the credit card charge and his claim was obviously denied by the processing company based on the information provided. The agreement was for a flat visit rate with no warranties offered.

I hired Garcia Services LLC back in 2010 (see my review). They did an amazing job, worked hard, quick and clean. They picked up their trash every day, etc... But things have changed. I had 2-3 cheaper quotes from recommended pros for the projects. But because of my past positive experience I went with Christian. They installed porcelain floors in about 1,600 sqft, refinished about 800 sqft of of hardwood floors, did about 140 sqft of laminate, re-did 2 bathrooms and changed my doors/frames/baseboards. When quoting he promised they would be working hard (like last time) and that the project would take 4-6 weeks. I quote "we will have 2 cuadrillas working Mon-Sat". I saw Christian 4 times in 2 months, when he quoted me, when I paid the 50%, the 25% and the remaining balance. Christian helped me with ideas for the whole project, but for the execution he wasn't there. I asked them to look at the vanity/faucets/bidet/toilet before installing them (they were european) and they didnt... so they ran into problems/delays. I asked them to extend a wall 8 inches and center the vanity.. they installed the vanity before extending the wall.. and then after I complained they extended the wall 2 inches leaving me with a 34 inch opening for the door... They worked hard for less than a week (3 workers), then it was only his father (great gentleman, I have nothing but good things to say about him) and he split his time between several projects... so he was working maybe 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 days on my house (except for a couple weeks where he worked every day, on his own). They took 8 weeks to finish the job and the quality of the final product was mediocre at best. This project was TOO big to have ONE guy (and sometimes an extra hand) doing all the work. Not only that, several times they said they would come work on Sat/Sun and never showed up. When I talked to Mr. Garcia, he told me Christian never showed up and he wouldn't come on his own. To top it all off they used my yard as a dump, I had 5 bags full of dry leaves and they used them to dump ceramic. They left my yard full of drywall, wood, ceramic, laminate, pollo tropical boxes and even old tools (like Mr Garcia's metric tape)!! They installed 2 toilets, 1 bidet and 4 faucets, 3 showeheards... the boxes and packaging? Dumped in my yard. After putting everything (myself) in black contractor bags it was about 18 boxes of trash. I had to pay someone else to haul the trash away. Yes my yard is big and it was full of tree debris (I was doing the garden myself) but they had NO right to dump their stuff in the yard. I paid them a lot of good money to work clean and efficient. They painted my doors black (as I requested) but were careless, my baseboards have black paint in a few spots. The ONE transition they installed in my guest bathroom they did a poor job and didn't cut it properly so there's a gap (they were lazy to cut around the frame). Response by Garcia Services, LLC: This was a very difficult project to run since the client decided to travel on a tour around Europe for about 1 month during the most important part of the project. Making decisions on how to costumize a fully remodel house with poor to no communication with the owner made a huge impact on the overall development of the project. It was almost a waste of time for us to bring a labor crew to a project with little to no attention from the owner on how to proceed on many aspects of the project. There was an owner friend that would kind of decide on things from the owner but at many occasions they did not agree on the instructions given to me or my workers. Poor communication with the owner was the main delay for this project since we can not proceed without the owner's approval on many things from a project that size. We admit to leave some of the debris from the project but we believe it was compensated with the amount of extra repairs completed at no extra charge. We have improved our way to deal with debris and also customer communication. We advise all our clients not to travel or be out of reach during big projects to avoid delays or mistakes on a remodeling project.

Christian provides a good customer service. We hired his company because our 1st interview was with him. He is very responsible. If you are planning to install new wood floors and Christian does the job, surely you will get a good job done. In our experience we asked them to refinish wood floors. And Christian hired to another contractor called Ricardo. He does not have attention to details. We are not happy with Ricardo's job.
