GHI are very personable and professionable.

The job I needed completed, was replacement of broken flashing and replacement of broken motor on my chimney. I was initially impressed with the assessment of the work I needed and was glad that other problems were pointed out to me. I was also satisfied with the quoted bid price. I was hopeful that I had found someone who I could use to get work done that I had no time for. Unfortunately, my small job was fit into what I assume was a busy schedule and assigned to a helper for the business owner. The worker was only able to show up to work when the day was getting close to being over. The second visit to finish the job was conducted when it was dark outside. When it appeared that the job was about to be completed, I paid the worker. As he wrapped up for the night, the told me he had a little more to do and would be back to finish and clean up. He wasn't able to say when because he gave me the impression he had little control over his schedule. I believe at least two weeks have passed since he was here. I assessed the status of the job the next day I believe and I was disappointed by the mess of motor on my roof and chimney. I also was dissatisfied by the quality of workmanship. The replacement piece of flashing was wrinkled (for lack of better term) and didn't match the pitch of my roof like the existing flashing. I cleaned up my roof, put away my ladder (that I had loaned to the workers), and determined that I didn't want the job finished. I will try to do it myself next summer. I feel bad that this didn't work out.

The quality of much of the work was not good. The workers were inexperienced and did not know how to do quality construction. They could only work in the evenings since they seemed to have other daytime jobs and would show up at any hour. They did not finish the job after being paid. I would not recommend them.

He told me about other projects that they do, so I will probably hire him again.
