Initially we were contacted quickly after requesting a quote, and he came out a few days after. He said we would have the report emailed to us in 4-5 days, but it didn?t come for almost 2 weeks. We had to call several times and also called the main number in Pittsburg where they were not friendly or helpful.

I paid for a plan and design for my basement paid $1200 and never received anything ⠦⠦. After speaking with the engineer they refunded my money. They are an honest company . I like their integrity. Mistakes happen, people are only human and make mistakes. Great people make a great company and I think this is what they have.

Erik of Gary J. Miller firm is excellent! He developed structural engineering drawings sheets for the basement egress window project of mine, sheets which are needed for pulling a building permit. In addition, he timely and patiently answered all the questions that I had in regard to the structural integrity aspect of the project via email. He came out did the assessment, was paid upfront in full but never sent the report. I have not received the report yet and he said it would only take a week.

"Administration Response: This person, despite sending her report via email said she didn't get it. A third time we sent it she refused to check her email! We are now sending report via certified mail, WE WILL SEE IF SHE SIGNS FOR IT. She asked for a refund, its unfortunate there are people like this in this world, She threatened to post a bad review on Angi if we did not refund her money. So sad really. When i forwarded the engineers response below, she emailed us back "He's a liar" Our Structural Engineer's Response: I sent it to her email. And I mailed her a copy because she claimed she was having trouble getting to her email. She called me and I verified her email again after she said she had it fixed and then sent the email again. She called me again stating she had not received the letter in the mail. I asked her if she had checked her email and she said she wasn't doing that anymore. That's when I called you to see what I else I can do about it. And you told me to send it certified."

Erik was not just prompt but early, his analysis very good. Best of all he responded very fast to all the questions I had and covered everything I could think of regarding all of the details needed to remove a load bearing wall and convert it to a half wall.

My building was demolished because The engineer did not get my permit, he told me he would have them and he lied so my building was demolished and I Plan on using them. The engineers name was Matt Overton, and he recommended an architect that took my money.

Matt was polite and professional throughout. I asked for a report outlining recommendations for improving deck support beneath our hot tub. I was asked to pay fees upfront ($450), which I did. The report was received eighteen days later via email. One page of text; Findings: eight bullets. Recommendations: seven bullets. One page engineer sketch describing support improvements. Perhaps this is standard for most PE. I found the product quite costly.
