Gator Roofing and Construction, LLC was contracted for a commercial construction project under clear milestone-based payment terms. Despite receiving over 60% of the total contract amount, the company failed to obtain required permits, neglected its obligations to supervise and guide the project, and breached key responsibilities expected of a licensed Florida contractor. The contractor caused extensive delays, demanded undocumented payments, and failed to deliver verifiable results ? leading to substantial financial damages. Multiple breaches and indications of potential bad faith conduct have been documented. We are pursuing formal contract termination and considering additional legal and administrative actions through the appropriate regulatory channels

Work: Repair and install storm shutters: I paid $850.00 more than what other companies had quoted the job for, because they promised me that the the shutters would "work like new" and I'm quoting this. Then when they finished the job I noticed the locking pins were all jammed and not working, I requested that they fixed the pins as part of the agreement that the shutters would work perfectly...He told me, for the first time after more than a week of talking, that the pins would cost extra. Now it's the wind season the shutters keep vibrating/making noise during the night, i'm going to have to spend more money to finish the job. So I feel that they deceived me My advice: I don't recommend them, but if you hire this company make sure you detail the job on a contract and have them sign it.

"[Consumer name withheld at their request]I do apologize for the misunderstanding, but we discussed the issue in hand, which were the pins. The shutters system was over 15 years old and we did delivered the quality and performance to the shutters' functionality after we refurbished them as promised. You inspected them immediately after installed and I even asked you to close them yourself. We have been in business over 10 years and we started as a shutter company, we really know what we are talking about when it comes to these systems. The pins were jammed and bent when the curtains were received due to lack of service. The reason why we could not change the pins were two, one it did not interfere in the functionality of the curtain and second we would have to replace the female and male ends of the curtain in order to change the pins (these parts are no longer available due to the systems' age) only adaptations will do, but once I tampered with it, I'm no longer installing the same shutter I received. I will be more than glad to discuss this further with you and reach an agreement that will be reasonable for both of us. You are my customer and I do not want you to feel as we deceived you! Please contact me at your earliest convenience."
