Gator Cut & Construct

We contacted this company a little over a month ago to have drywall put in a Groom suite for our wedding venue. We prepaid for all of the materials in advance. My point of contact was Matthew who also is the owner of Gator, Cut, And Construction. He told us that he would arrive in the morning and it should take 1 to 2 days for the project. We paid 50% down and balance was supposed to be due when project was complete. It has now been a month. Project is still in shambles. The owner never responds to Messages and has not returned to finish the project, even though we were promised multiple times that he would be there. There always seems to be some sort of an excuse. I asked him to please refund our money and I would just hire somebody else. He refuses to refund the 50% deposit. We were gone for two weeks and he promised it would be done before I got back. Project is still in limbo. He is very unprofessional and unreliable. I will be filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau. Update as of 09/04/2026: I wanted to edit the review because we did end up hiring somebody else to come in and do the work that we hired this company to do, but it would not give me an opportunity to edit. So I wanted to address a couple of other things. They did not secure the the insulation properly it was not stapled in, also they did not put any boards in the corners to support the drywall when you leaned on the walls the drywall went in, which would have been an issue once we started utilizing this Grooms cabin. The new company that we hired is having to take down the drywall that was put up and redo it so it is done property.Also, they had asked us to pick up materials and they took a bucket of drywall screws for their own personal use. Do your homework and do not hire this company.

Did a good job in the lawn.

The team with Gator Cut & Construct did a great job replacing the liner in our above ground pool. After working through some weather delays, they knocked it out. They are experienced and knowledgeable about the process. They took care of some unforseen issues below the pool before installing the new liner. It was a little more involved than originally thought but they addressed everything at a fair price. I would recommend them and will call them again for any pool maintenance needs.
