Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation and Replacement

Bunch of incompetent cowboys. These guys were recommended by our architect but did an appalling job. The roof began to leak after 18 months, causing significant internal damage. Multiple points of failure where the asphalt was unsealed, most seriously where our roof met our neighbor's. Lots of air pockets, unsealed eaves, other places on roof where water came in. Rather than take responsibility for this mess, the roofer gaslit and blame-shifted. Initially blamed the skylights. He begrudgingly patched part of the roof. The next rainstorm saw new leaks, which caused even more damage. Refused to acknowledge bad work or consequences. Ended up hiring a different roofer to redo the job. Do your self a very big favor and avoid. Uploading a few images of the internal damage caused by this shoddy work
