We hired general roofing in 2021 to redo our roof and they pulled everything off and installed a new roof after yo charging us multiple times. It has been only 3 years and weâ ve asked them to come back over and over and over to fix our roof because it still leaks. Getting in contact with them is impossible and now our 3 year old roof is leaking so bad again that itâ s compromising our fully renovated second floor and still no answer from Arber. Iâ m very disappointed in the complacency of their workers and how little theyâ ve been trying to fix this situation. 10 out of 10 would not recommend.

Arber, his foreman and team were first class. They did what they said they were going to do efficiently and quickly. They removed my old roof and replaced it with a new one in two days. Itâ s a high end neighborhood and their work was superb.

I wanted to have some repairs made to the damaged siding and roof and gutters above an extension portion of the house. I got some bids and this company was not the lowest but seemed to be the best choice based on reviews. When work began they informed me the entire original house roof was in bad shape and needed to be replaced. My $3500 repair shot up to $11000. Once the 3 layers of shingles on the roof were removed I was informed all the underlay had to be replaced and the cost jumped to $19600. At that point, I had no roof and had no option no way to get another estimate. I was given a $16000 option that would only replace the worse pieces of underlay. I cannot help but feel like I was ripped off, and feeling like a complete fool for letting it happen. They dropped a dumpster in my driveway with no boards to protect the asphalt now I have marks and digs. I am still finding pieces of the old roof in my yard not to mention nails all over the perimeter of the home. The banging on the roof caused some nail heads in the ceiling to pop and breakthrough a repair I was told I was responsible for it.

Matt was a really good foreman and the job was done professionally and on time. They did a really good job on a difficult roof.

Very professional had a minor problem they died in 24 hrs

I got a call within 10 minutes after i posted the project. This was for gutter cleaning. Job was done the next day. The two man team did a great job cleaning the gutters, which have not been cleaned in years and were very dirty. Price was very reasonable, less than what I expected. Would recommend.

Outstanding experience. Had my roof and gutters replaced. Sam and Arber were very professional and friendly. They managed to steer me away from unnecessary upgrades and had the job done correctly the first time, and the finished product looks great.

Punctual ,good price

They gave me an initial estimate of $900 then reduced it to $800 after some negotiation. When the actual worker arrived he showed me a handful of nails and said the job was MUCH bigger than the owner estimated and the new price jumped to $2,100. After more negotiation, the owner brought the total down to $1,900 but that was more than twice what I was expecting to pay. I cannot judge the quality of the work since that part of the roof is not visible to me, but I have no reason to suspect they did not do a good job. Judging by the number of shingles that landed in my backyard, they did what they said they would do. The price change could have been just an honest mistake during the initial inspection.

Reliable and prompt

General Masonary and Roofing LLC was knowledgeable and their quote was reasonable. They identified the problem I was having with roof right away, the main issue was with the Chimney. I had a couple of Companies came in and gave estimates but they were very expensive but the quote I got from General Masonary was affordable. I would glad recommend their services to anyone.

I give Arber and general masonry and roofing more than 5 stars!! I am the kind of person that worked a lot, and did not think that I had time enough to screen contractors.. well, because of the events of 2020, I now have all the time in the world! I I spoke to 4 different contractors, and general masonry gave me the best price and started as soon as I wanted. Arber will walk you through everything and do it honestly. II needed a new porch,new steps and a completely new roof over my basement entrance. They finished everything in one day. The entire crew were so polite and such hardworkers!. At the end of the day, there was no debris. You would never know tthat they had been there.I expected a practical back porch,but i got a back porch that is as beautiful as my front porch! This has taken such a weight off of my shoulders because I definitely have a few other major projects for them and I now know, that they can do this next spring, and not have to worry about the quality of their work!!! If you are like me me, don't wait! Call and get it done now. You will be so happy that you did!!

Rob originally came out to give me an estimate to repair the bricks around my fireplace; but after discussing the issue with him he suggested that for a little more we could install natural stone instead. We loved his idea and we could not be happier with the end result. His crew was personable, professional, their work is second to none and best of all, the fireplace looks absolutely awesome! We are so pleased that we have hired them to replace our roof next.

Came promptly and completed job within hours

They were very prompt in responding to questions I had after they left & were very professional & courteous. They showed up when they said they would & cleaned up after the job. They also alerted me to a couple of other things that needed attention, said to call them when I was ready to repair them, but didn't pressure me to get them done immediately. Very reasonably priced compared to another contractor. There were a few pieces of shingle & nails that I found in the yard/driveway, but it wasn't enough to be upset about. I would hire them again.

Prompt, courteous, polite and efficient for a good price. Even cleaned up the wind blown debris off my driveway. I was even able to name my price!

I believe the estimate was fair. I can only assume the quality is as good. I cannot personally see for myself. The workers cleaned up after themselves and that was greatly appreciated. I found out months later that the non-speaking individual appeared very nice but deliberately punched a hole in my roof. My exterminator pointed it out to me on his routine visit.

Arber is very professional, courteous, responsive and above all honest. For the siding repair work, he evaluated the pics I had forwarded and was quickly able to determine scope and effort which he got it done the next day. I must stress that not a single penny was charged (and this was the first time i was dealing with Arber and his company) as he felt his guys could the fix the issue right away. I HIGHLY recommend General Masonry and Roofing NJ! and would recommend to friends and neighbors.
