We looked months for a moving company. We checked with Home Advisor.com and found General Movers. They show a lot of TLC to clients, very polite, knowledgeable and professional which we where very impressed. They showed up on time and ready to tackle the job. Good attitudes in the whole crew that was sent to pack our stuff. And that's just the first part of our move. Looking forward to the second part of our move this week.

From the first call to the last, General Moving Carriers were professional in every way. Guy expertly explained the moving process, came out to my home to take a tally of what we were moving and gave us a worst case scenario estimate which guaranteed the final price would never exceed. We received a follow up phone call 2 days before the big move going over the estimate, what time I should expect the moving crew and the overall moving process. The moving crew was simply the best. The crew captain Roy was friendly, accommodating and made the move basically stress free. Roy's moving crew worked very well together. After the move, we received another call asking us to give comments on how the move went. General Moving Carriers exceeded our expectations.

Top services from the beginning with Guy giving us a contract estimate, the move will not go over the estimate, unless we add on more things. On the actual date of the move with 4 men team lead by Ronnie, Augie, Frankie and Ricky. What a team! they work seamlessly together and got the job done! All our things arrived without any damage. I would recommend this team and Guy without hesitation! Thank you for making my move stress free.

On Saturday Jan 30th, 2016 I could not have been more satisfied, pleased and impressed with General Moving Carriers Service. I've moved quite a number of times in my life and this was the first time I used a moving service and definitely would recommend them to anyone I know that's moving. The three professional movers Harold, Lawrence, and Brandon were very courteous, respectful,prompt and professional. They work very well together and also did not leave me with any unanswered questions. The items I had to be moved were wrapped thoroughly, quickly and with no damage done which were going to Flushing, NY. My dad who was on the receiving end was also very pleased on how these guys worked, moved, unwrapped and put the bed back together in a matter of minutes. Thank you Laura for the great customer service you provided me from beginning to the end. I did not have the best experience on the day of my move. The movers were over an hour late and several of my belongings were broken. Once I notified the home office they worked with me to come to a satisfactory resolution. They even offered to send additional movers to the house to place/rearrange furniture free of charge. I was provided with excellent customer service from the home office and would consider working with this company again.

    We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them.
  8. Liens Search
    We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them.
  9. Identity Verification (SSN)
    HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
  10. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup)
    We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
