I had 4 pcs that had some water damage. Two of the pcs had sentimental value and was delighted how they turned out. He did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone. I have some other pcs that need to be repaired and will be calling him again.

Richard recently refinished my mom's 1950s solid cherry wood bedroom suite, which included bed footboard, headboard, dresser, mirror, side table and nightstand. My mom had passed away and I wanted to move it to my house. He restored it to its former beauty; his work was impeccable. The furniture had scratches and water damage; he did some repair work on it as well. He is expertly knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. He was prompt and his price was very reasonable. If you have furniture refinishing needs, call Richard. You will not be disappointed. I don't have enough great things to say about his work!

Richard DOES NOT do upholstery, but he does fabulous furniture restoration! Our very nice solid mahogany Cresent dining table was terribly damaged during a move in December of last year with a 10-inch long gouge through all of the finish and deeply into the wood of the table top - most distressing for my wife, as it was the central part of her most prized dining room furniture. We searched for a repair / restoration expert in middle Tennessee who could return it to its original beauty and found Richard at Generations Antique Furniture Restoration. Adding to the challenges for this assignment, the table had a darkened discoloration "stripe" down its center length, where a table runner had been placed for years, and it needed to match its chairs and sideboard again with its final finish as well. Richard did this work with extraordinary skill and care giving us a dining table that now looks better than it did when it was new. Thanks, Richard. Richard was incredible to work with. His customer service was outstanding and he is an expert of his craft. He is a true professional. He refinished an entire antique bedroom set that was in very rough condition. After only about a week he completely transformed our furniture. Seriously it all came out beautiful! His attention to detail was like nothing I've seen. The wood was beautiful and the finish immaculate!
