Genesee promptly contacted me and provided a competitive estimate for installing a new Heat Pump. Their sales rep was very knowledgeable about the local rules governing placement of my unit which wasn�t the case with all the other firms that provided me estimates through Service Magic. The install went smoothly and after 2 weeks the unit is working great. I would definitely recommend them.

Needed a new blower motor for our furnace. Genesee did the work. The first install resulted in a lot of vibration of the furnace. I called, and Genesee came back out and fixed it (replaced the blower motor with a different one) free of charge. Very nice.

I compared several contractors, but was happy with Genesee's product (York heat pump), detail provided in the bid, and the different guarantees they offerred. The installers were professional and the system is working very nicely.

Genesee responded very quickly. They diagnosed the problem and spotted a potential future problem. So the needed repair also included a tuneup. The technician also explained how I could watch my furnace and keep it in tune myself in the future. Great service!

Both Brennan and Genesee were very good. I think Mechanical contacted us but only once. Brennan and Genesee followed up on the initial contact. It was hard to choose between the two. Genesee sent a personal note after the estimate, gave them an edge. Genesee did the installation, very professional, great follow-up.

Excellent service

The original technician was on time and professional. He diagnosed the problem and submitted the order. When the second tech arrived a week later he completed the job quickly. However, his bill was over $150.00 more than the estimate I had received from the repair. He stated that it had something to do with labor. I called their office after he left and they agreed to void and shred my check and charge me what I was originally quoted. She called this week to let me know it had been done. I am glad that I was persistent and happy with the end result. The fact that the charge was so much higher did, however, leave me feeling a bit uncomfortable.

Very thoughtful and thorough evaluation prior to providing a quote. They were responsive and understanding of our needs. Consistently pleasant and professional (phone/office staff, salesmen, installers).
