They did my walkway but made 2 mistakes they have not fixed and donâ t want to fix as Robert stopped answering my calls and responding to my messages. These are the issues: 1. The walkway is off-centered with the main entrance. 2. The walkway slope is steeper than 1:20 making it out of code now. This is very dangerous as people can fall/slip more easily. I would have given them more stars

I had a decorative 30 year old wall in front of my townhome that was literally falling down. The mortar between the joints was coming out, and the wall was unstable. I had another company rebuild the wall, and that company did an awful job. The mortar they used did not match the color of the mortar of my home, there are mortar stains across the brickwork, the bricks were uneven, and so on. Frankly, it looked like a bunch of 6 year olds had done the work. That company assured me that it would be impossible to match the mortar color, that the bricks could never be cleaned and so on. A neighbor of mine had George Shegani & Sons rebuild their wall, and it was perfect. I called them, and they explained that they'd have to replace all the bricks, but that they could handle it, and could also repoint the brickwork in adjoining walls. During the rebuild of the wall, they discovered that the original builder had neglected to even pour a footer for the wall! They poured a proper footer, with rebar, then rebuilt the wall, with new bricks and color matched mortar. They took the care to ensure that the brickwork was properly aligned with the brickwork of the existing walls, so that everything matched up contiguously. They then replaced the topsoil around the walls with fresh topsoil. All in all, an amazing, professional, very high-end result. I absolutely will be going to them for any future brickwork I have!

I m over the moon happy with my new flagstone patio with steps, walkway & drainage system that was installed in 2 weeks time. I had given up on our project till we met with Robert. He listened to our ideas then gave his recommendations. My backyard was transformed. My husband & I can t wait to entertain & spend time on our new patio. I highly recommend their services. George Shegani and Sons built me an entirely new and beautiful stone walkway leading from my driveway to my front door this past Fall. I was having water gather in a large pool on my old walkway, and they built the new one with perfect grading so that issue is now a thing of the past! Their expertise and know-how is really exceptional. They are true *old-school* stonemasons. They were all incredibly hard-working and very informative and kind regarding all of my questions. They always showed up on time and were very dependable. I cannot imagine a better experience or quality of work.

We hired them to remove an old crumbling patio, sidewalk and pergola and pour a new concrete patio. Not only did we have a short window of time to have this project taken care of (for my daughter's wedding which was happening in 2.5 months from this post) it was a difficult space to get to. People told us you'll never find someone to get this project taken care of in that short of time. Shegani and Sons said..."we'll get it done, don't worry"... and they were true to their word. Our circa 1866 house needed the right masons for restoration and rebuilding work. The Shegani family and crew rebuilt and reinforced a collapsed 100 year old ashlar stone retaining wall to beautiful condition. They also removed two crumbling retaining walls and built new walls using reclaimed stone we had specified. George Shegani and sons performed a fantastic project for us. They removed a crumbling front stoop and replaced it with a new concrete stoop with rebar. They helped us select the stone which was 1 !/2 in. PA bluestone. They designed a visually appealing pattern and installed the stone on the new stoop. They also installed the stone over our existing concrete walkway. The result is a terrific combination. Their workmanship is without peer and their customer service is outstanding. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a service provider for brick and stone work.

George Shegani really saved us. Our old flagstone staircase and walkway leading from our driveway to the house was crumbling, dangerous and in constant need of repair. An old tree was pushing on part of the retaining wall and other retaining walls were bulging outwards because of poor drainage. George beautifully rebuilt the stairs with thick heavy new flagstone supported by red brick with a new concrete understructure. He rebuilt the heavy cinderblock retaining walls to be straight and draining well and nicely finished stuccoed. He made smart modifications to the area where the tree was encroaching. George and Sons are professional craftsmen and are courteous and easy to deal with. Price was reasonable for the amount of work done, and the job was done right. I couldn���t ask for more and would highly recommend George and Sons for any stone, brick or other masonry work. These guys really do a great job!
