On October 3rd I got counter tops installed by John from Georgia Stoneworks. John is a great man to deal with, he explained me everything about counter tops, its types and prices as well then I selected one I liked the most. The quality of work is very excellent, john and his team done their job in timely manner. I am very impressed with my new counter tops and I will highly suggest this business to all other people who want to get counter tops installed.

We are doing a complete remodel of our kitchen. Granite can be a scary process with all the different colors to choose from and the expense. The choices they have were incredible. They were wonderful and so very helpful in every part of the process, from picking out the perfect piece of stone to the layout of all the pieces. He and our designer, Owner himself worked closely to make sure it was done correctly. I know it will look amazing. In just a few days it will be installed and I know it will be done with the same professionalism that they have shown thru this complete transformation of our kitchen. Thank you Stonework of Atlanta, and all guys that put all the pieces together.

Stone Slab Countertops Installation (Granite, Marble, Quartz, etc)

We hired GA Stoneworks to install quartz counter tops in our kitchen and bathrooms, build out a bar area in our kitchen, change our kitchen sink out to a copper farmhouse sink, and re-tile two bathrooms. John told us the kitchen would be a two-week job, and we would be without a sink for 3 days, max. We kicked off right before Easter. At no point, did anyone ever sit down to discuss in detail the design and materials? We had already chosen a quartz pattern at HD. I spent a lot of time at Floor Decor, picking out tile and grout for the kitchen and bathrooms. Never once did GA Stone assist with picking out materials. He sent his lead GC to demo our existing sink and install the farmhouse sink. He also took our cabinet doors back to the shop, so they could be cut down. And apparently, he took our existing Moen sensor faucet, Insinkerator faucet, Moen soap dispenser, Insinkerator garbage disposal, and hot water Insinkerator assembly as well. Most of those items were never returned even though we requested multiple times. We went to three weeks without a functioning kitchen sink. I called John multiple times and finally lost my patience with him and his lead GC. Only then, was our sink hooked up. However, we were still missing the disposal and InSinkErator. Over Easter weekend, we were out of town but our mother was at home. The cabinets for our bar area were installed. And they were wrong. They did not match the drawing or dimensions we had agreed to with John that were crudely drawn in our contract. They added an additional cabinet to the back and it was all now entirely too big for space. It took a lot of going back and forth with John to finally get him to agree to remove the additional cabinet and correct the end cap. He made sure to inform us many times after that he did us a favor by not charging for that change. The lead GC had a very poor attitude and work ethic. He would leave things unfinished or finished poorly. He was very condescending, and often no-showed. We grew very frustrated with the GC and John after a month and a half of having our kitchen in shambles. When we had the existing back-splash demoed, I personally sat at the house and supervised. Thankfully, this kept them from leaving in the middle of the job as they received a call from another unhappy customer wanting to know why they had not shown up. The next week when the tile guy showed up to do the back-splash, he claimed we did not have enough tile. I left work to go to Floor and Decor and get another box. When I arrived to the house, the tile guy had left. When he finally returned two days later and did the back-splash, we had three extra boxes of tile. I was not happy. At this point in our project, John pulled the lead GC off our job and replaced him with a guy from his shop. The first day the new contractor showed up to start our bathrooms and finish the kitchen, he asked me for trash bags. John also showed up over an hour and a half late that day and was quite rude. From this point forward, John began lying to my fiance about things I had said. The bathrooms were a nightmare. We constantly had to return items to Home Depot and Floor and Decor because they were not correct or could not be used. The design was changed in one bathroom and our glass door we purchased became unusable. The contractor and his wife ate our food, drank our beverages, and made themselves quite comfortable in our home without asking. In the end, the two separate two-week projects took almost four months. Never once did we receive information on the subcontractors in our home. Our property they took was never returned. John continued to lie to my fiance about me. And in the end, he negotiated a final payment to buy our silence. I have since noticed he is changing the company name since other people have left poor reviews. The owner also harassed my fiancee and I for leaving poor, but accurate reviews.

We highly recommend John Campbell at Georgia Stoneworks! John is very responsive, organized, and truly cares about meeting and exceeding the customer's expectations. The quality of his work is excellent, and John does a great job of communicating, keeping the homeowner informed and updated as the project progresses. We have gotten so many compliments on our new kitchen! It truly exceeds our expectations, and we're looking forward to working with Georgia Stoneworks again as we finish living space in our lower level.

This job was a 1.5 week job. It has been 9 weeks and not one aspect of the job is complete and correct. No manager was present during work and only showed up when we made a big fuss about it. We gave them second third and fourth chances to correct mistakes and complete the work but it s still not done.

Stone Slab Countertops Installation (Granite, Marble, Quartz, etc)
Based on our experience, John is a chronic liar and has missed EVERY deliverable date! The project timeline that was committed to by John at the end of March has produced NOTHING in terms of kitchen cabinets or counter tops, despite the collection of our money upfront for purposes of shop drawings and material purchases. His email signature includes Campbell Cabinetry as well (son/father businesses). We pursued this route after a preliminary conversation with Fred C. who dispatched John to our initial in-person meeting under the **guise** of being in business together. We pursued this route given the supposed **turn-key** solution. After 4 months, we are still not in receipt of final shop drawings, despite multiple requests and visits to Campbell Cabinetry with and without John present. Based upon our experience... be aware of the perils before engaging this person and his father. We are, unfortunately, having to incur much more money than anticipated based upon the delay and expenses related to temporary housing in the interim.

The install team was very professional. I was extremely impressed with them. They were attentive to the dust and did an outstanding job. The owner, however lacks customer service skills. I was without my cooktop reconnected for 3 days and his telephone response was aggressive and disrespectful. I would hire them tho because their team is great.
