I was impressed with David Cothran's honesty as we walked the property looking for dead, diseased and dangerous trees to remove. Several times I pointed out a tree to remove but was shown that it should be saved instead. He could have easily made more money but instead was looking out for our best interest. David and his crew went straight to work and removed about 23 trees, many of them extremely large and very close to our home. His crew was very efficient and professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, honest and hard-working tree service company.

Fantastic! Removed a large pine tree that fell through our roof during Hurricane Hermine. It fell at 5am on 3 Sept and it was removed expertly by 5pm same day! We live in Valdosta 4 hours south of their home base. Kyle Rowe is a real pro. The tree had snapped and landed horizontally across and through the cross beam. A crane was required to carefully balance and lift about 100 feet of tree before moving it to the ground safely. Great care had to be taken to avoid any further damage! The entire crew did an outstanding job! Recommend them highly to everyone.

In November 2015 my mother's property in Fairburn Ga. was hit by a tornado. It downed 39 trees on her 6 acres. Kyle Rowe came up the drive and introduced himself. (He had a crew working down the street) I agreed to let him do the job of clearing the mess. A little while later our insurance agent showed up. He looked over everything and contacted a claims adjuster who came out a little later. She was a brand new adjuster with very little experience handling a job like this. Kyle explained everything that he would be doing from start to finish. I told Kyle to get started removing the trees, repairing the damage to the house and garage. He stayed in constant contact with the insurance company. Well, over the next 5 months it was ridiculous how the insurance company did a terrible job dealing with me and Kyle. They passed our case on to six different adjusters! Each time Kyle had to start over explaining what work had been performed and how much he had received (or not) from the insurance company. Twice they sent checks made out to my mother and the mortgage company. The mortgage had been paid off 20 years! They had to reissue checks. The original claim came up with a figure around $6,000. After 5 months the total claim paid out over $60,000. That's ten times more than the insurance company originally offered!! Throughout this whole ordeal, Kyle was in contact with me explaining the progress. Everything he told me he would do, he did. He was polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He always remained calm and had a lot of patience dealing with the insurance company. I highly recommend Kyle Rowe, Joe Guaracino and everyone at Georgia Tree Company AND Duffy Roofing! These people and companies are professionals in every way and have INTEGRITY - something that is extremely rare these days!

Georgia Tree Company removed 2 trees in our backyard and trimmed the tall trees on our property. They showed up when expected, did a great job, and cleaned up completely after the project was completed. They took care to make sure I was happy with the results. I would definitely use them again.

Georgia Tree Company recently completed a job on my property. I am extremely satisfied with how smooth the whole process went. Randy came out to assess the work I wanted performed. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He offered some great advice, explained the scope of the work to be done, and quoted me a fair price. Two days later his crew showed up on time and began the job. They were courteous, professional, and extremely organized. Several trees were taken down, lots of limbs and branches were removed, and logs were cut up and stacked for me as promised. All waste was cleaned up and shredded. It was like clock-work. You could tell the crew was experienced and that safety was a top priority. Randy was on the job site with me the entire time. I would not hesitate to use Georgia Tree company in the future; and, I'd recommend them to all my friends!

I got in touch with Stuart and he did a excellent job getting rid of the trees. I would have given him all 5 stars but he said he will call the locator to mark down the underground utility locations but he did not and I had to call them and mark the locations before the stump grounding was done. That is why he loses 1 star from the Customer Service but other than that Stuart did an excellent job and I would recommend him highly. If you need Tree Services then give them a call and ask for Stuart.

We will only use GTC and Duffy Roofing for any future projects and are more than happy to refer them. We moved here from California and have had some terrible experiences with contractors. GTC and Duffy Roofing are honest, professional and they care about their clients. That is hard to find in any state. We used GTC to remove trees around our house, and when a neighbors tree went down on our home Stuart came to the rescue and had Joe the owner give us a call. We had no idea how to deal with an insurance claim of this nature. Stuart removed the fallen tree and Joe came to the rescue to help us deal with the insurance side. We are still in the process of becoming whole again as Joe puts it but his Roofers have come out to replace our roof and it looks amazing. You will not find a more caring group of people that we feel is an extension of our family now. We can't thank Joe, Stuart and their team for the wonderful work they have done for us so far. Judging by our experience, we have nothing but good things to say about Georgia Tree Company. As with all tree companies, their contract contains a bunch of ifs, ands, and buts that you should be aware of, but they re all listed on the front and back of the page you sign, so read both sides before you finalize. We hired Georgia Tree to cut down a towering pine in our front yard, and two big poplars at the back corners of our house. One poplar was three feet thick and the other almost three-and-a-half feet thick. The Georgia Tree work crew not only showed up on time, but came earlier than expected. Randy Cress, one of the partners in the company, personally supervised the entire job from start to finish, answered any questions we had, and kept us informed about what was going to happen next. Hornets were swarming in the ivy midway up the pine, so the crew had to drop the whole 80-foot tree into the street as a single unit. They did it perfectly, except for a couple of branches on a nearby cedar that were broken by one limb of the falling pine. After the broken limbs were removed and fed to the chipper, the damage to the cedar was too slight to notice. The only other casualty of the pine drop was a surprised raccoon, who had built himself a bachelor pad in the top branches. But considering how fast he departed when the pine hit the street, he was OK. The poplars in our back yard were felled just as cleanly as the pine. On one side of our house there was a gap of only 18 feet between our back porch and a prized Japanese Maple that my wife planted several years ago. The Georgia Tree crew dropped the poplar on that side squarely between the porch and the maple. Then they cut both trees into manageable chunks and stored them off to one side for later conversion to firewood. After they finished, they took a blower and cleared the sawdust and loose twigs off our porch and yard. In the front, when they felled the pine, a small amount of debris landed in a neighbor s driveway. They immediately cleaned up every scrap with a blower, a broom, and a dustpan. Because of an equipment malfunction, they couldn t move the pine out of the street until two days after they finished, but they shifted it over against the curb in the meantime so it wouldn't affect traffic. After they hauled it away, they cleaned up after themselves so well that you would never have known they were there. The only thing they didn t do was replace our mailbox post which they had to remove so they could fell the pine but we were in full agreement that they shouldn t even try to re-install it. Under normal circumstances, Georgia Tree would ve put the post back in the ground, but the hornets had established a new home around the pine stump, and it won t be safe to replace the post until every last hornet is gone. Georgia Tree came out July 30 2015 and did in one day what I thought would take at least two. They cut and removed over 20 large pine trees in two horse pastures and removed them from the property. Their pricing was very economical for such a large job. Additionally, all their bobcats and stump grinders had rubber wheels or tracks, so my decorative concrete and driveways were unblemished.

Mr. Cress was professional and timely. The tree fell while we were on vacation, before we could have it removed. I called him from our vacation in Nevada.He came ou the very next day to remove the fallen part. Then they came back a few days later to ground the stump.

Kyle and Anthony gave me a very good price and did whatever I asked of them as far as clean up, providing me with chips/mulch. They came to do the job exactly on time and performed a really great job. Anthony came back to make sure that I was satisfied and even took down an extra tree (no charge) that was damaged because they had to work in a tight area. I would highly recommend this company.
