They do fantastic work. Gerard obviously cares about his work and hires people that are the same way. Will definitely be going to them again for any landscaping or stone work that needs to be done.

Gerald is a complete con man, do not trust this person, he us unprofessional, he sent 2 children to install a walkway that was not level and walkway is not centered to the doorway and you can see that, he proceeded to argue with me, Gerald walked off the job and had no intention of completing the project or working with me to rectify the walkway, he has $6000 of my money, he refused to return my money he wants to do things his way whicjh is the easy way, not the correct way, I did a background check and he has 9 liens against him and 4 bankruptcy and the last one as recent as April 2020, over the years he has had 14 different phone numbers,

This is where HomeAdvisor is slipping in providing a true picture of the consumer experience. Our record speaks for itself over 10 years. Nearly 30 years overall in business. And ANY seasoned business will eventually find they receive a review or 2 like this from people who just cannot be pleased. The fact is Patricia, your job would have been finished to spec by now. You have 6000.00 worth of materials and labor on your front lawn right now. You could not follow a contract in good faith. No reasonable contractor will work with you like this and the demands you presented here."

Project: Replace concrete sidewalk with bluestone walk; replace morter in back bluestone sidewalk, and overlay existing concrete patio with bluestone. Started job on time; completed within promised timeframe. Diligent, polite, talnted workers. Gerard ensured that the job completed with my complete satisfaction. (Also helped me with the design of the job to be done, augmenting my ideas with his practical experience.) Highly recommend.

He is a crook! I paid 26K for landscaping around my entire property. Of that, 12 plants have died within months of the project having been completed. He told me that all the plants have warranties. When I notified him, he told me my plants were dead due to not watering them - I have an irrigation system around my entire property as well as a professional gardener that comes in every other week. He told me he could replace some of them (because only some were under warranty) and that he was going to charge me to drive out here, dig up the dead plants, go to Adams to get replacements, drive back and plant them. I WOULD NEVER EVER-EVER-EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN FOR ANY REASON.

A true contractor will always attempt to seek complete satisfaction with anyone they engage with. Over time, any contractor will inevitably encounter people who just cannot be pleased. No matter what they do. In reality, and unfortunately, there is sometimes an interaction where there is never a point no matter what you do to help someone, it is never enough. Landscape Curbing Installation
This business works on our gardens and can suggest improvements to trees, shrubs, and the like when they're wanted. They performed so beautifully the renovation of our driveway: exactly as the job was planned, the photos of similar driveways were shown, and the budget was estimated. Gerard is flexible and pleasant to work with.

One of my main concerns with contractors is that they show up and stick with the job until the end. These guys did. Gerard described the job in detail beforehand and it turned out as he promised. His crew were friendly and informative and worked steadily. And the steps look great!

No follow up to discuss the completion of the job. Have emailed him twice with photos and no response. Once he had the money he refused to contact us regarding problems with the project. Update 10-23-2019 He finally contract me after Homeadvsior finally contracted him, Job is finally resolved!!

Worked with me to arrive at the right design for the patio and stone-surround garden. Delivered exactly as agreed - his team was polite and responsive. Gerard was easy to reach during the project and was very responsive. When the project was complete,his team did a great job with site clean up.

Gerard and his team were awesome. So professional. After a retaining wall holding up our deck collapsed, Gerard was the only contractor who put our mind at ease with his knowledge as to the repair that was necessary. He kept us informed every step of the way throughout the repair process, and had the job completed even though the weather was not cooperative. His team is extremely hard working and cleaned up everything when the job was done. We can't thank him and his team enough for a job well done. We have no fear that his work is up to code and will meet any inspection requirements. We would definitely hire them again and would recommend them highly to anyone searching for a good contractor at a reasonable cost. If we could give higher than a 5 rating we surely would.

I love Gerard McCluskey's project done for me one month ago, because the owner/designer Gerard has the artistic eyes to make over my existing garden landscaping very beautifully . The result of design was beyond my expectation, I love it. Although Gerard's charge was little bit more expensive than others, he provided a an artistic value that is worth the money. In a way Gerard did save me money by not throwing away my good existing plants and flowers instead he transplanted them at different corner and places that made the back yard garden very lively and interesting. I highly appreciated. Then he added more shrubs, flowers, specimen trees, and boldly enlarged my flower beds with very artistic shape. The final result was stunning. Although Gerard was so focused on the project that I was not allowed interrupting him to ask questions which upset me a bit, when I saw the result the upset feeling was replaced with satisfactory appreciation.
