At Gerhart Engineering Company, we are a full-service civil engineering company specializing in structural, geotechnical and hydrologic design engineering. You can count on us for innovative, lasting solutions to your home and building problems. Our professional engineer has 23 years of experience and a Bachelors of Science degree from Lafayette College. Although, we do many varieties of soil testing we are not able to do PERC Testing so please do not contact us for that type of work. Although I adjusted my schedule to accommodate this engineer, he did tell me what I could do, but has not provided a written report as was requested. He has not been paid since I have not received a written report. This took too long to have the work completed and is still holding up progress on my overall job.

Tim, is extremely Knowledgeable in his field. He showed up on time and he was pleasant and nice to work with. Tim put together drawings for a retainer wall I had built. Tim showed up right on time and was excellent about listening to all our concerns and incorporating solutions into the provided drawings. He's not a big talker, and I admit to more than one thought of calling the whole thing off, but he came through in the end and I'm glad I decided to stick it out.

Tim is amazing. I was days from closing on a house when the underwriter decided a structural engineering report was required so I called and spoke with Tim on a Wednesday evening, met with him Thursday morning and had a report in my hand by Thursday at noon, less than 24hr turnaround! Needless to say Tim really helped me out and was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He will always be my go-to structural engineer.

I just had an analysis done of the structure of my home. Was concerned about feeling the house shake when large trucks would drive by on the street in the front of my home. I was told I would receive a letter of his findings/recommendations. He took my check,it's been cashed,and I haven't received the letter yet and that was 5 weeks ago. I called him today and he said he would get the letter out within the week.....
