Efficient and high quality repair!

Had 2 outdoor carport support beams replaced/installed and a bedroom door replaced. Work was completed the day after I contacted them. Work was outstanding superior quality, quick and reasonably priced. These are highly skilled and talented people. I would definitely recommend and hire again.

I have done some contracting and had experience with other contractors, I would say my experience with Get it Done was exceptional. The work, which included fixing water damage on walls, sheetrock work, painting, fixing of a door, re-inforcement of bed frame, installation of a ceiling fan and installation of three new windows, was done quickly and at the price estimated. Kevin, the owner of get it done is a hands-on contractor, while he had other people do certain work on my apartment, he was here much of the time and was the person who installed the ceiling fan and fixed a door that had been a big problem for me for a long time. Kevin is a creative problem solver. at one point, I asked him if he knew a good mechanic to change a headlight on my jeep. Instead of giving me a referral, he changed the light himself! I highly recommend Get it Done and will certainly call them again the next time I need a handyman or contractor.

I will start with the good parts. Kevin is very responsive, very positive, and nice to be around. We werenâ t expecting to start the project so soon and had to scramble to purchase supplies and fixtures and ran into some hiccups when Loweâ s messed up our order. Kevin was great about taking the time to run back and forth to multiple stores to get the items we needed. He quickly fixed a toilet for me without charging me. That kind of extra assistance was really appreciated. His crew was pleasant and was great about keeping things neat and tidy. We had a long list of things that needed doing (minor repairs, new fixtures, several rooms of painting). There were some not-so-good factors. Kevin over promised and under-delivered. The oven drawer still doesnâ t close, dings on the closet doors that were supposed to be repaired as part of the paint job had to be mentioned (after the paint was on). The crew ran short of time and the last room painted isnâ t done nearly as well as the first rooms that were done. They brought in a woman who wasnâ t as good as the other painters. I wish she had worn a hair net because there is hair embedded in the paint on my bathroom ceiling. As the project began to run longer than everyone expected they began to rush and make mistakes. Kevin sold us on the idea that he had professionals for each job (plumbing, electrical, etc.). The same guy who did the paint also fixed the windows and did a terrible job on the grout in my shower (wrong color grout, patchy application). For those of you who are new to hiring a contractor, ask to see the credentials of each person doing each job. I was not going to mention the following but... The workmen tended to put their tools and painting supplies on the toilet seats and now all of them are scratched. Not a huge deal (they are plastic seats), but they could have put a rag under them or better yet put the supplies on the floor. They jammed the handheld shower nozzle behind a pipe in the shower instead of hanging it up properly and now it is damaged and a piece of it is coming off. Thatâ s a problem because if it canâ t be repaired it will have to be replaced. I have no idea who to call to repair it. I texted Kevin to let him know about these things so he and the crew could avoid these kinds of issues in the future. I was going to mention them to him and no one else. He got defensive, accused me of breaking the shower nozzle myself (huh?), and hung up on me. Thatâ s where he lost me. I will forgive just about anything if someone is genuinely sorry and makes some attempt to correct their mistakes or at least own up to them. I have no patience with someone who wonâ t take responsibility for their work. Bottom line, if you need a room painted and perhaps some small jobs, I think heâ s good. If you have a large project I would look elsewhere.

Kevin and his helper did a super job. The room I use for an office came out beyond what I expected. Have plans to hire them again for other projects that I have in mind.

All three of the people I met were friendly , and courteous . They presented themselves well and I was pleased with the work that was completed on time for the cost estimate that I was given. I have already hired them to work a second home improvement that was needed and I have no doubt that I will get the same great results.
