Gill Plumbing provided outstanding service. Nick, the plumber, reset 3 toilets in a fast and efficient way. When there was a problem with one of the tanks, he discounted it from the invoice, When the new tank (bought by owner) was ready to be installed, he came promptly and installed it at no extra charge. Also, when a problem arose at the prior job he was working, he called to advise me he would be late. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

John Gill did an excellent job replacing our water heater. It was difficult because of the location and problems with the previous install. John confirmed the appointment, was very professional, and left the area clean. He also helped us to get the city water department to correct and issue and fixed several other minor plumbing problems. I highly recommend John Gill and Gill Plumbing Services!

John was very knowledgeable and brought certain aspects up to code. The work was done efficiently and in a timely manner. I especially appreciated the way things were cleaned up after the work was completed John had performed plumbing work for us when the main water line leaked which required having to dig and trace the leak at the foundation of our house. John did a great job then so I had faith he would do the same in replacing our gas water heater. Lastly John was very accommodating in working us on payment arrangements. Gil Plumbing prvided a professional work but their chart was not cheap, it was on the top of a bell shape.

Great guys, great service, and done in an honest and timely manner. Had a new hot water water installed. They called ahead and showed up perfectly on time. In about two hours, they installed the hot water heater, reinforced the stand it sits on, and a few other details to make sure it'll stay in working order. They even made sure it was positioned in a perfect way to make the drain valve more accessible. Highly recommended.

Honest, dependable and price Competitive

Great experience! They were quick to respond with a fair price lower than others. Also, seemed honest and I didn't feel the need to haggle for a good price. The repair quality and customer service were outstanding. I had a new water heater the same day! I would hire them again.

Upon much debate, Gill Plumbing was our 'second opinion,' and we chose him to come out despite a service fee (he had so many great reviews). We had a very high water bill, and suspected a leak. We first called another plumber, and he diagnosed the problem was outside and was going to dig up our lawn and replace a GOOD pipe for over $3,000 (and it took 4 days to diagnose the problem)! When John came, he figured out the problem in 10 mins and it would only cost us $200 and our $95 would be included. Wow! We refer our friends and neighbors to him now. He is no nonsense and competent.

John Gill installed my water softener today. (Project header may say water heater because there wasn't an option for a softener.) I've never owned one and so I had a lot of questions for him. Even so, John provided very knowledgeable and thorough answers. He walked me through the programming process, how to bi-pass the softener if required, and offered some incites into preventing typical problems that he's seen with other water softeners. As for the install itself, John had it completed in under an hour. That said, my home was already pre-plumbed and I provided the water softener unit. One nice thing about John's work is that he guarantees his labor for one year. Hopefully, I won't need him to come back. But, if I do, I have the piece of mind that he stands behind his work. I'd highly recommend him to anyone in the future.

Mr Gill was very professional and courteous. Explain everything to me in great detail about the water heater and water softener they installed. How to notice problems and how to maintenance the systems. House was left cleaner then they arrived. Made sure everything was operating properly and tested my water prior to his departure. John was very professional and knowledgeable. He performed a thorough examination of my water heaters and provided me with several replacement and warranty options. In addition, he also provided me several payments options to consider to help defer the cost over time. The replacement of both the water heaters in my attic was accomplished in less than a day with excellent workmanship. His estimate was very competitive and he also provided the replacement of additional items such as new inlet & outlet hoses, drip pans, shut off valves and a drainage system that was not offered by other service providers as part of their estimate.

After an initial consultation with John Gill regarding a new water heater, I had decided to try and save some money by having a family-friend install it. Worst mistake ever! Not only did the family friend complain the entire time that a 1 hour job was taking all day, he wound up installing the water-heater incorrectly and did not add a vent hood which is dangerous (also spent an extra 100.00 for him to buy parts). Frustrated I then contacted John again, who agreed to come out an replace the water-heater in a few days. Not only was John professional and courteous, he was willing to work with me in financing the new water-heater/labor so that it was much more cost friendly for me. Having to replace a major appliance is always a financial burden, but lucky for us I had a professional install a brand-new water heater, guarantee his work, and allow me to finance the job. Its been 5 months and all is well, thank you so much John!!

John was a true professional. He evaluated my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. He spent ALL day in the concentrated San Antonio heat of my garage to work on it, and even suggested a pressure (reducer?) valve at the street. He thoroughly explained everything he was doing, and I learned a lot about plumbing! He also replaced fittings that were old even though they were in working condition. The work was on the high end of what I could afford, but we worked out a payment plan.
