Joe from patchmasters is a scam artist. He stole 2400 dollars from me when I hired him for a project. We went through arbitration and I won and he still will not pay me back. I suggest if this company comes across your phone you delete. Joe is a pos.

"We gave a quote to the customer based on the pictures that he submitted. After arriving on site, the customer added additional work that was NOT in the pictures. I explained that we could do the additional work but there would be an additional charge. We completed the initial work but customer refused to pay anything extra for the additional work. The job has been completed."

Had repair work done on the seams in my ceiling and on the wall in my basement hall. 1 of the workers was really good at his job. The other not so much. I was charged to match texture on a smooth wall? Also quote was given through photos and I DO NOT recommend that. MAKE them come out. I was also charged $200 for customer extras and that was wrong. There were no extras! Work completed was sent in the photos. Way over priced! And they had to come back and fix again what they originally did. I was told it will all blend once painted. Well of course, it does not blend. They did not clean anything up they left a mess.

"We quoted the price based off of pictures. When we arrived there, she added another wall to the job. Also, she did not specify that she had a sloped-vaulted ceiling. Because of this-we informed her that we would have to raise the quote by $200, which she acknowledged and approved. In reality, the extras amounted to double the $200 charge. We spent several days completing the job and she okd the finished work. We received a call about a week later, that the texture did not match. So, we came out again and redid the entire ceiling texture free of charge, and then she added the front wall by the front window that she wanted us to repair a seam"

Paid Joe 400 dollars an hour to repair a patch and retexture the entire ceiling to blend in the repair. He rolled plaster using a paint roller over the entire ceiling. Texture was not consistent and ultimately not what I had in mind when I agreed to the price and signed a contract prior to services that were completed. Had other drywall contractor see his work and they agreed it was not the standard way of performing this job.

I found them to be unprofessional., and they did a poor job. After priming and painting, there is a stripe in the ceiling. They did not wear shoe covers in my home, there was plaster ground into the carpet in the hallway and stairs which took 3 cleanings to remove. When I complained about the job and the clean-up I was told perhaps I could not be satisfied. I have had numerous things done in my home from roofing to a complete kitchen remodel to flooring and never had any issues with any other company. I would never recommend them.

BBB complaint and Ohio Attorney?s General Office consumer complaint filed for deceptive business practices and poor workmanship and refusal to refund collected payment. Falsely charged for quoted plaster repair/replacement on basic dry wall work. Star rating is zero stars.
