I recently used Gilmer Enterprises to have some work done in my home. I had my ceilings refinished and my bathroom remodel finished. The guys did a great job. Walter was very helpful making some suggestions. Stephon was on top of making sure everything was done properly. Freddy and crew did a good job. My ceilings look so much better. They are beautiful. My bathroom had been half-done for a year. They finished everything in a few days! Did I mention that I found their prices to be very reasonable. I am definitely planning on using them again for future projects!

I can’t say enough good things about Glimer Enterprises, Martin Glimer, and his entire team. What began as a water damage issue on our second floor turned into a much larger structural problem once the floor was opened for assessment. They discovered dry-rotted subflooring, floor trusses that were essentially gone, and a porch that was close to failing. It was a stressful situation, but Martin and his team handled it with professionalism, clarity, and confidence from day one. Despite the expanded scope, they fully reconstructed and restored our second floor in less than 30 days, bringing our home back to a safe and completely livable space. The craftsmanship, coordination, and speed of execution were truly impressive. This was not a simple repair — it was a major structural reconstruction, and the work was done right. I am almost scared to post this review because I worry the company will be too busy for me to hire them again but they have definitely earned the praise. I have been using Gilmer Enterprises for over a year now. They have completed just about every type of work interior and exterior in my home. They are professional, friendly, and take pride in their work. They have made sure not only that their work is done right but also to my satisfaction. Their pricing was also extremely fair and I did not ever feel like I was being taken advantage of as an owner. I am so thankful I happened to come across their business. I absolutely will be using them again in the future.

He fixed my chimney a year ago and when the hurricane came through there was a leak and in less than two weeks he figured out the problem and he took care of it. The contractor was extremely cordial. He even went so far to help me touch up holes from the boards in the hurricane from the board on the house on the outside. He went above and beyond what most people would do nowadays.

Horrible Company Owner! Never use them, Period!

Gab was very professional and through. He found and filled stucco cracks that were missed during our initial walkthrough. Very friendly team from initial contact through final inspection. Martin and Gab were excellent!!

This family business is such a pleasure to work with. They are responsive, communicate with each other, and truly care about you. They removed two old fan boxes from opposite ends of the house and replaced them with screened vents, doing all the necessary framing and finish painting. Cleaned up everything. Their project estimate was professionally documented and they fully completed the project in one day! I can't give them ten stars but if I could I would. They are competent, fast, careful with your property, honest, and just nice people.

On our second water pipe breaking we hired them to do everything We had a water pipe break causing damage to walls and flooring. They took care of everything. We had a flood on the second floor that leaked to the first, and they were out at our house the same day getting started on getting the moister out. I was very impressed with the finished work. I highly recommend this team. And reasonably priced. Would use them again.

I am not sure when, or if, I have ever received such amazing service, especially from a company or person in the home contractor market. Martin went above and beyond (I am not exaggerating) to ensure our job was done right and done on time. He is honest, trustworthy, and a skilled craftsman. I honestly could not be more pleased. If I could give him a rating of 10, instead of the max of 5, I would.

My husband and I are very thankful that we had the opportunity to work with Mr. Gilmer. He was very professional, provided an honest and fair quote, but most of delivered a superior product to us. We have been wanting to add a backsplash in our kitchen for years but never found a good time to do any remodel until we had a leak in our AC unit that required a portion of our wall to be cut out. Not only did Gilmer Enterprises fix the drywall in our pantry, but they also restored the wall in our entryway that was also damaged. Our home know looks new and improved and we couldn t be happier. We have received so many compliments on our kitchen and drywall repair that we plan on using Gilmer Enterprises for some additional projects in the near future, which includes a bathroom remodel and new flooring!!
