Old sod was removed using a bobcat, so I could not use ut in some other project (I was going to put that sod in my backyard). The bobcat work created a lot of dust, and at the same time, did not remove properly roots of old grass (which was of a different kind than the new one). I mentioned this to the landscaper, yet they did not agree to remove all of the old grass roots. Instead, they sprincled the roots with "all-kill" poison claiming that the grass would bot grow back. This, of couurse, was not true. In about a week, old grass was back. It keeps growing back, so I have to keep poisoning it removing it by hand.

They were on time and worked consistantly to finish project in time that was scheduled. The project was laying sod and the overall look was very good but there was a small area that had an uneven look that we refined ourselves.

Everything went great! We plan on using them again very soon. They ended up doing our grading, sod, and privacy fence. We may even have them do regular maitenance on our lawn.

It has been a pleasure working with A & L Lawn Services in completing the first phase of a multi-phase project. The two partners are very professional and trustworthy. They treated my yard as it were theirs and they show great honesty in dealing with me. A & L will work for me again and again if they continue to perform the way they did on the first phase of my project. A&L lawn maintenance came for their first visit today and I am very satisfied with their work. I especially appreciated the manner in which they gave their estimate. They told me exactly how much the cost would be and what they would do for the amount they charged, and they did all that they said they would! They seem to be honest, hardworking young men. They have maintained my yard for 5 months now and have been here every week that they were scheduled to be here. I would highly recommend their services.
